    Citi NEVER Sleeps
    The good thingsBenefits are fantastic. Hybrid arrangement. Food court has amazing spread of food. Easy access for lrt and mrt commuters. Super high pay for some team members.
    The challengesNO LIFE, WORK only. Expect motto 'Citi never sleeps' to be at its worst. Many Malaysians are let go and difficult to redeploy as the bosses are mainly of other nationalities. Some teams are majority of 1 nationality or race only to ensure easy communication between themselves. Most staff got high bp and insomnia even though in their early 30s.

    PRO AND CONS Overall Still Considerably
    The good thingsGood benefits interm of everything included medical cover for whole family, annual leave is more, career growing environment and movement of career, shift allowance and more. Provide alot training to equipped their employer A very organised company.

    The good thingsGreat colleagues, supportive managers, high salary and very good benefits. Good company for a fresh graduate to join as well as for experienced worker career move and the company is providing extensive training for new hires.
    The challengesWorkload is too much for remaining staffs due to many staffs resigned. Under appreciated and KPI target has been very strict recently. Less increments and poor bonus. Job burnout. Hence, more staffs resigned from the company recently.

    The challengesWorking hour is a nightmare. Hard to have dinner with family. Your dinner time will become supper time. Workload is basically too high. Company is reluctant to hire more staff. Really cost saving. Do not expect too much on bonus.. Is just two weeks bonus..

    The good thingsIf you really can perform you will get better rating, the increment is good which higher than market. At least 2 digit per year. Senior or manager very helpful if you raise your hand for help.
    The challengesYou only can expect higher increment rate instead of bonus. The bonus is not based on performance but is from pool of funds and portion allocated. Next, management strategic is frequency changed, you need to be very flexible to manager in term of time shift, nature of job scope and manager reporting. Take note you can ask for work life balance except for month end closing but you expect your rating will be lower.

    Stay away from Compliance/Operations. Go for the Business side. Fresh Grads might become disillusioned
    The good thingsThe overall benefits of working for the firm is pretty decent as it is with most banks if you stay long enough. Most of your colleagues will also be a joy to work with and personally is the main reason why I enjoy working here
    The challengesThere is no set target for career development especially if you are young and hungry. A lot of your career moves and even promotions are hard coded for 2 years (meaning you have to be there for at least 2 years before you can even apply; unless you over-achieve by a mile). Hence a lot of attrition occurs after 2 years. To mitigate this, you would expect decent pay and/or perks. Unfortunately, a lot of the worthwhile perks are also locked behind the 2 year wall. Pay is also poor if you work in Operations/Compliance. Management is also decent at talking however when it comes to implementing policies benefiting the staff or actually caring about staff, they struggle in this regard. Work-life balance is also average with certain managers seeing it as a burden as opposed to a perk.
