Long hours job, bad people skills
    The good thingsCooperative field staff
The challengesLong hours including weekends. No training provided for new joiners on the job designated (except for those compulsory training such IT, HR). Bad communication between manager and the team. Too many meetings “not walk the talk” with no solutions, not effective & efficient.

The good thingsYou will learn a lot with DKSH. Great company background with a lot of professional working in the company. Might have some issues here and there but I think it's understandable.
The challengesContract basis. Quite challenging as a sales representative but still ok.

    Assistant Manager, Finance
    Dec 2017
5 to 6 years in the role, former employee
Gain a lot and in the same time lost a lot
The good thingsGood basic if you willing to stay and able to contribute. If you are working for money only, this is the place. Others perks will be lower than the marketing is providing. Friendly and no politics among the colleagues.
The challengesLong working hours with tight deadlines. Finance basically need to do A - Z no matter it is finance / non-finance related. Stagnant growth within the company and lack of opportunity to grow. Routine workload. Hard to jump into other industry where experience is tagged to field marketing which the market is small. No guidance, everything needs to be hands on. Nothing to learn, just learn from mistake.

    Finance and Accounting job
The good thingsThe General Manager in charge of this DKSH Subsidiary is overall a reasonable and friendly superior. He actually makes all the meetings very enjoyable and inspiring. He does not go into bad temper and humiliate the colleagues.
The challengesThe work load for Finance and Accounting employees here in this unit is really too heavy and outrageous. Besides the normal accounting operations, the Finance employees are forced to support the business units by doing very detailed quotations and other sales support work under stressful deadlines. Accounting staff are also forced to do HR Work such as tracking OT figures. HR team refuse to do it
