    DuPont was established in Malaysia in 1974, as DuPont Far East Inc, with its marketing and administrative office in Wisma Budiman, Kuala Lumpur. It then moved its office to Wisma Samudra, Hicom-Glenmarie Industrial Park in Shah Alam in 1998.DuPont Malaysia currently employs some 300 persons, under the stewardship of Mr Ong Ewe Hock, the Managing Director. Its principal business includes agricultural crop protection products, polymers, chemicals, fluoroproducts, fibres, refinishes, imaging, solid materials, advance composites and Packaging & Industrial Polymers. With the acquisition of Danisco (www.danisco.com) in May 2011, its business now includes Nutrition & Health.As DuPont progressed in Malaysia, our commitment to safety, health and environmental excellence has been very crucial in working together with Government Departments such as Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry department and Ministry of Resources.
