That helped me to get confidence in talking to the public, and also showed me that this is a job where I will need to work hard. The good thingsThere are many things that I have gained while working at EPF, for example experiencing working in this sector, being able to learn about current and future savings since I am a new graduate with a non-financial education background. Be able to strengthen communication more effectively and be able to get along with employees of different positions.
The challengesThe challenge faced throughout being a protégé and intern at the Employees' Provident Fund is how to handle members and employers who have different emotions, different affairs, different languages such as Chinese, Malay and Indian. Not only that, the biggest challenge is where to be involved in the opening ceremony of the new EPF office in the branch that involves many people. And also challenges such as handling small events held in the office either for employees or the arrival of the HQ party such as the CEO to the new branch office.
