    Communication is poor
    The good thingsUnlimited leaves, Colleagues
The challengesManagement at this company has serious attitude issues. When you ask about tasks mentioned in emails, they often respond with rhetorical, condescending questions. Their emails are vague, auto-generated using chatgpt, full of '—' and no clarity, just full of AI guessing stuff for you to do your work. Even simple questions get brushed off with, common replyies, 'read the email again', if you ask, they will just copy and paste the paragraph and sent it to you, which just leads to going in circles. There’s no EQ or real communication skills. And when the boss is in a bad mood, many of us just take annual leave to avoid the toxic environment and office politics.

If I wanted to be political i would be in politics.
The good thingsThere are some pretty colleagues which did make my job less stressful.
The challengesLow budget for snacks and my desk is supremely tight. Lots of politics in this company. Really funny as one of their motto itself was to disable politics.

Different from what was said during interview
The good thingsFlexible, unlimited leaves, people are kinda friendly
The challengesThe work is even worse as compared to what i used to be in my previous companies. The workload was massive and expectation was killing. Regret joining the company.

    Apr 2020

Unstable, risky and stressful with lower than expected perks
The good thingsThe company offers flexibility (not all in the company), unlimited annual leaves (this is the most attractive offers however, still subject to approval) and wonderful colleagues.
The challengesBeing a start-up, the stress level in the company is high (demanding). Those in a more stable companies such as Banks/FI, MNC and etc, the stress level is comparable but the benefits are not as great (perks, bonus. salary). Stability is in doubt as the financial position may not be sustainable. Company just did a mass retrenchment few weeks ago. Hence, those already having a stable job, its best to stay at where you are. Being last in may result in first out. The work and process flow are still very messy. Unless you are from a company worse off, then u will struggle in this company.

Sub par startup, sub par leaders
The good thingsGreat colleagues that I enjoyed working with.
The challengesOvergrowing without proper planning. Mass firing of colleagues. Looked like a market leader but is actually worse off than its competitors. Bad management!

    Disillusioned company
The good thingsExpanded very quickly. But that came a price.
The challengesHeavy losses from serious defaults. No action taken by management to curb the issue. However, my teammates that worked hard were penalized for another team's shortcomings. Management largely unaffected too!

    No good startup. Selfish leaders.
The good thingsBusy all the time initially. Very productive.
The challengesMismanagement by the leaders on the finances. Business will be tougher in the coming months as nobody will want to borrow money from us.

The good thingsCaring colleagues, interesting space and enjoy the challenge. Leaders doing as best as they could, I learn a lot.
The challengesTypical challenge of a startup, especially given MCO and bad market conditions. Freedom also means unstructured and more stressful, not for everyone.

    Scary actions by the company
The good thingsStartup with lots of freedom to expand my ideas
The challengesCompany looks really unstable now. They just did a mass firing. Thinking if I should find another job now. The management actually said we are free to leave if we want. Unsettling.

    Unstable and High Risk
The good thingsUnlimited annual leaves, flexible and nice colleagues.
The challengesCrazy work life with high expectation. Process flow are still very much in haywire and unstable. Company may be unstable so those experience people who used to work in great benefits, this may not be the company u may want to join.

It's bloody risky to take up offer to join FS
The good thingsFriendly colleagues, can be good friend.
The challengesStressful and very high risk joining this company. You wouldn't know if you are the next to get retrenchment. Very short notice given and access ceased immediately right after announcement. The management gave very lame excuses. All the best to the remaining staff

    Nightmare fintech experience
The good thingsFast paced and happy working environment.
The challengesBad management, was offered a new position here. Took the jump because I was excited to be part of a fintech. Big regret as the company decided to lay staff off in March 2020.

Good vibes, Young & Enthusiastic, Poor management
The good thingsI enjoy working here as the colleagues are friendly and lot's of activities. This is the first company that offering so called unlimited annual leaves.
The challengesVery stressful company, growth rapidly but poorly managed. The management of this company is messed. Very politics among managers & leads. Besides, the top management is poorly manage this company. Can feel like they don't really know how to manage stakeholders, including staffs, companies and issuers.

Not as good as I thought
The good things- Good vibes, friendly colleagues, lot's of activities - Moved to new office (Malaysia) - spacious and nice - Unlimited annual leaves - Interesting product
The challenges- Stressful - New start up (although already 3 years but all their SOP still bad) - Good leader but poor captains (Chief level - especially the founders and co-founders) - No teamwork (across department - always some miss communications) - They so called fintech but their "tech" is poor - High default rate but captains never tends to control until recession & many investors start to withdraw money - poor management - Poor collection team, have no idea why sales person has to do the collection job which suppose to be fully handle by collection - poor management - Benefits can be better

    Poor management - poor ceo
The good thingsUnlimited annual leave (but dont think you can apply though) Nice office Friendly colleagues Team activities
The challengesStressful, poor management, company politics. Company downsizing due to bad economy and covid 19. We had video call meetings in the morning, mentioning that will retrench staffs, 3pm immediately receive letter and ask you to leave. Management is poor, especially the top management across the countries. They will keep mentioning good opportunities, and the next day give you letter ask you to leave.

Enlightening, it's a great place to learn
The good thingsThe team is dedicated and enthusiastic! Everyone is ready to serve, in a good way, creating a positive work environment.
The challengesThe workload is a bit crazy. The company is young and manpower is scarce, but the rewards are great!
