Great place to learn as software engineer
The good thingsGreat environment to learn as tech team. Helpful colleagues. Lots of tech to learn. Open to feedback in tech team. Highly inclusive culture and diversity. A lot of trainings opportunities without obligations. Quite the cutting edge technologies in Malaysia.
The challengesWhen related to matters on local management, not so open for feedback. Target high productivity but as you learn you will pickup the work volumes and increase your productivity. Okay increments. Must learn to speak up as authority of code or technical end. Must always self learn to stay relevant. Get to work with colleagues in Europe, sometimes meetings at night. Team members are quite new, requires someone to lead. Bias in not implementing certain technologies.

A great place to start your career
The good thingsThe best experience I gain was to involve in the Transformation process (from a local operation to a shared services environment). The managers I reported to are all very supportive and willing to share knowledge. The guidance I received helped me along my way in building my career. Pros: - Flexible working environment - Managers who are willing to listen, share and guide - New office located at a strategic location - Opportunities to learn
The challengesNothing bad experienced so far.

Quite a good place to settle down
The good thingsSince my manager is abroad (Germany), and most of my tasks involving users from europe, therefore the working time was not very strict. The time was not very constraints, quite flexi (but not too much) The location of the office (Midvalley) gives a good point, easy to access, not very expensive parking, lots of places to eat. The benefit and perks reasonable enough. Would be better if the medical also covering family member.
The challengesIn terms of my work scope, it has limited me to enhance my skills doing some other things more interesting since most of it handled by colleagues in Germany. Communication whenever related to roll-outs (or sometime daily tasks) was sometime troublesome since its quite few times information was not well communicated. On roll-outs, some project lead does not consider reasonable time to submit requirement, which in the end will leave me with limited time to complete the task
