Great experiene! where I manage to meet some extraordinary people and have the opportunity to challenge myself in hard situations.
The good thingsAll of the co-workers are friendly and always give supports to new staffs or interns. Many things can be learn especially in building up our relationship with the natural environment and also with the community.
The challengesThe challenges comes from ourselves. For example, communication skills, maintaining disciplines and durations of individuals to keep on track of the company's working routine.

The good thingsAllowed creative freedom, flexible hours (within reason), better work/life balance and great health and other benefits. Allows to take time off to improve skills (training paid for). Able to claim full responsibility on the design department (the only designer).
The challengesPlanning and managing events tend to be short on time and budget. Design jobs come up on the very last moment with very little notice and fast deadlines. A lot of fire-fighting (back scene management) involved, which is normal for any company. As the only designer in the office, things do get pretty hectic during crunch time.
