A valuable internship experience with plenty of learning opportunities and supportive colleagues.
The good thingsDuring my internship at Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad, I was welcomed by a team of friendly and supportive colleagues. They were always willing to guide me patiently and share their knowledge, which made my learning experience both productive and enjoyable. The collaborative and inclusive work environment truly enhanced my professional growth.
The challengesCommunication flow can be improved to make the workflow more fluent and ensure better task coordination and clarity.

Great for those comfortable with old traditions, just looking to get paid and prepare for retirement.
The good thingsStability for those who play internal politics well. With enough longevity or the right connections, you’ll eventually be allowed to act entitled.
The challengesClear favoritism, hard work might goes unnoticed unless you're in the inner circle. Manager can be highly calculative and lack of genuine leadership. Feedback is rarely welcomed unless it aligns with what they want to hear. Culture encourages playing it safe rather than improving or innovating.

Poor career advancement from HR dept
The good thingsFriendly working culture among the superior and the fellow colleagues. Superior is willing teach whenever you need assistance. No OT unless you cannot finish closing account on time.
The challengesHR won't appreciate your effort even though you have worked for more than 3 years. HR has the final decision to determine for bonus & increment pay out. Even though you are outperformed, but HR won't appreciate your effort which force you to leave.
