Toxic Leadership and Lack of Supports Structure
The good thingsGreat colleagues (from different departments). Flexibility before the company’s policy changed and the people before the management changed.
The challengesManagement, including HR and certain department leads, demonstrated clear bias and favouritism. Some leads were condescending, especially during high pressure situations, and offered little to no support when guidance was needed due to resource constraints or unclear task delegation. There was also a lack of proper induction - employees were expected to already have in depth knowledge of the brands and teams they managed. In some cases, leads avoided involvement in projects tied to clients they personally disliked. Overall, trust within the team was limited, making it important to be cautious about what you share and with whom.

Healthy Leadership Leads to Healthy Environment
The good thingsThis company really cares for our mental health. Lots of distress amenities, and we get to WFH during the pandemic.
The challengesThe typical Malaysian culture of delaying things. It's not about the system but some workers.

    There's good and there's bad
The good thingsManagement truly care about the employee wellbeing deep in their heart not just for the press shows. Take suggestions from employees.
The challengesCareer development is rather slow or not possible. They would rather hire new seniors to fill the slot than promote those who work hard and the results is well known within the company.
