    The good thingsThe good things The management always supportive and give the staff challenge. The staff that already met the target are awarded with rewards such as promotion, increment, annual bonus & incentives which is more than monthly salaries, this will motivate staff to do more. I enjoy working here because most of my friends are helping each, teamwork is always the best in Heinemann.
    The challengesThe challenges I admit that when working in retail line stress are something that you cant deny. It is natural thing, what else you can expect. The great thing is this company manage to reduce the staff stress by provide many staff welfare such as monthly birthday celebration for birthday baby. You will be invite to eat at the luxury restaurant here and being bless by the management. Furthermore, you being provided with rm150 shopping voucher as a gift. Wow.

    The good thingsHeinemann provide training for customer service, selling techniques, product knowledge, leadership and more. This company really want you to learn and to be knowledgeable. The good thing, if you learn and work hard, company give chance for promotion and more responsibility. Package also very attractive...the highest at airport. The managers and supervisors coach the staff to make them learn. Some staff don’t like to learn but I’m happy because I think knowledge is power and I can learn so much here. Thank you Heinemann!
    The challengesSome staff are lazy and don’t want to work and also don’t want to learn. They just here standing, chitchat and go home. Before this, there is more people like this but management change the staff and now the team is better. Many challenges everyday but for long term got much improvement.

    The good thingsThe company has been performing very well for a couple of years and strives continuously to be the best out there. Many people from competitors wish to join Heinemann but they select only talented and skilled people who wants to make a difference and who are willing to learn. There’s a focus on development here and that has brought the company to where they are today. There were drastic personnel changes earlier this year where many problematic employees (mainly senior staff) had to leave the company which also explains the many negative reviews on this portal. Just by reading the reviews it is apparent that some frustrated people (ex staff and senior staff) are really trying to bring down the company. There are also customer reviews on Google and TripAdvisor where “Be Duty Free” is highly rated. So how does that fit together? If the company is really so bad, customers were to be the first to experience this, but that’s obviously not the case. In fact talents are challenged and supported here and can really contribute to make a change and to make the company even better. Many people were given chances for further development and promotion. Even the problematic ones were given so many chances to close their performance gaps and to fix their attitude problems. In my opinion the management is still too kind and gives to many chances to problematic staff.
    The challengesThere are many challenges here cause the environment is very dynamic and the management ambitious to improve and to develop at a fast pace. I’ve been working here for almost 3 years and I worked with many toxic people at the beginning. Some even tried to give me trouble but I stood firm and now after almost 3 years many of them don’t work here anymore. There only few toxic people left but they’re getting lesser. The management is very eager to resolve this and very selective about new candidates. They look for people with good characters, positive and open mindsets.

    The good thingsHeniman is Good, But the people inside heniman is make everything not Good, in July 2019 almost 15 staff Resgin, think before you joind Hdfm! And have Casse with level Low in 2019 .

    The challengesTo fullfill the management required are so dificult seems they are never satisfied! Always looking bad side or wrong doing from the staff, never try to understands what staff needs or if you confront any problem occurs you on your own! Nobody will back you up, and the most annoying thing is if you are not achieving the target you must confront 2 or 3 people from management side to explain yourself and then when you are giving the reason why the only take note of your wrong doing or your flaws to attack you back, meanwhile management or stock problems are not they are problems for them.

    Very struggling to do sales yet too many stock hv to do at the same time..
    The good thingsNothing good, we not even can talk to our colleagues during free time and we will get a warning letter as a gift because management will take it as grouping..
