Many opportunities but do not wait for your superiors to challenge and motivate you.
The good thingsMany personal growth opportunities. Colleagues and peers are generally helpful and supportive. It toughens you up quick.
The challengesCumbersome internal processes may cause frustrations and delays. Possibilities of cultural clashes for some overseas based superiors that have challenges acknowledging diverse local business culture. Very lean structure. It is common to have multiple roles and responsibilities reporting to many head of units or departments at the same time.

The good thingsGreat culture and very collaborative working environment. You will get to work with a lot of individuals from various background and experience

    Relentless changes, keeps you moving!
The good thingsDynamic company, full of learning opportunities. A very structured organizations with many levels of involvement. Huge opportunities to work in cross boundary and cross culture initiatives. There are also overseas relocation opportunities, If you like adventure, handling a wide product portfolios or a specific business initiative you will travel a lot. Depending on roles, you are expected to fully responsible of your time.
The challengesComplexities sometimes make decision making process cumbersome. Very corporate oriented therefore may put off those wanted to be entrepreneurial. Some functions are lean, typically mid to senior managers have multiple roles. In the pursuits of accomplishing more, sometimes focus is put at the back burner. Replacement or bringing in new hire is slow, therefore it really stretches and challenges the current setup.

    Nice colleague, Good experiences,
The good thingsIn here, even only a 3 months time, i learnt a lot (which out of my expectation). I was like a baby start from 0 and been taught until able to understand the role of finance industry. After i worked in Henkel, i found that Henkel is a some kind of my dream company for my future when the time i want to settle down. The most appreciate is i got to know a lot of different knowledge that cant able to earn from university.
The challengesEverything was so new for me which i had no any experiences in finance and accounting part. Somemore, the traffic jam is really terrible over here and the parking fees is expensive for a intern.

The good thingsMotivate employees with a lot of opportunities. Manager plan and develop career plan for employees. Welfare wise Henkel is not the best but they provide enough coverage for their employees. Working in Henkel has brought my technical knowledge to next level and make me who I am today. I thank to my lead and managers who have given me opportunity to learn and grow in IT world.
The challengesHenkel is a very stable company, in terms of Infrastructure changes, at time it will not have drastic changes. The good things is we learn about process and cost savings in firm like Henkel. Driving changes in Henkel wasnt easy but not impossible.
