Awesome working environment with great colleagues and work life balance! The good thingsI love there are a good dose of work life balance. The in house facilities that are provided help the employees to live a healthy life. And the events or activities done by the social clubs by the employees are voluntary but they are consistent and frequent throughout the year. The personal learning development are a plus as well as an individual who works hard and deserved to be recognized eventually will be sent for trainings etc. The working experience allows you to go at your pace and if you are ready to jump to the next level with your peers and manager recognizing it, you will get there faster than normal. All these are subjected to your performance and your capabilities though.
The challengesThe company adopts and encourage role rotations. And as it can be seen at the top management, they rotate quite often which give them the necessary exposure. However, it is tricky from mid level to the ground staff. Few factors, the managers are accountable for the performance of the account they support. Therefore, if there is a chance of operations degradation, they will not approve any job rotation within teams. And chances of having the person to move on and have an external hiring done to replace that person is near impossible as we see cost savings and budget constraints. And with that, it kind of limits the level of job opportunities and the progress of a personal self development. E.g. if one has achieved and met all criteria to be promoted or job rotated, but if business is in a limbo, those activities will be put on hold indefinitely. And since they are undergoing reformation, increments and promotions can be tight now.
