It taught me to keep learning and try new things.
The good thingsI learned a great deal during my time at this company, especially through exposure to AI software. The management never rushed the learning process and allowed us the time to grow, as long as we kept them updated on our progress. Although my main role was video editing, I was also involved in website projects, which gave me the opportunity to learn something new every day. I was fortunate to have a supportive senior who was also a video editor, and we shared knowledge and skills with each other throughout our collaboration.
The challengesOne of the main challenges was the multiple approval layers and frequent revisions, which sometimes extended the project timeline. I believe that when changes are requested by clients, it would be more efficient to prioritize their feedback directly, as clients are the core of the business. Clear communication is crucial, especially for creative projects. The creative team should be involved early through proper briefings or meetings before campaigns or events so everyone clearly understands their roles. Additionally, having a Creative Head of Department with a strong creative background would help guide the team and encourage further creative exploration. Since design and video work are subjective, direct alignment with leadership especially when projects are assigned by management would help the team better understand the intended vision and direction.

The good thingsI get to learn a lot of thing here, mix with colleagues from different background and also learn more about client's brands. Overall, it taught me to be independent and not being spoonfed.
The challengesThe demand from the higher management is often ridiculous as you will need to deliver it in a short amount of time. And sometimes, the workload...is certainly 2 job for 1 person kind of types.
