    It’s time to reassess recruitment policies. Malaysia is a multicultural nation, and the workplace should reflect this. Building an inclusive culture is not just fair, it’s good for innovation and long-term business success.

    The challengesThe company does not appear to support equal employment opportunity. Hiring practices are heavily skewed toward one color group, with little to no effort to consider candidates from other backgrounds. There is no evident commitment to DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) values.

    It's a good opportunities and a great experince to learn and involving myself especially in logistic department. It was my first experience actually and i learn more about it and other stuff.
    The good thingsI can expand myself learning especially in Logistic and it is a great opportunities to work as a Good Flow Assistant in IKEA.
    The challengesWe need to deal with customer while i'm doing picking for ecommerce orders (my KPI is depends on time especially in picking).

    The good thingsWorking here is great experience, there are no special room only for management or other co-worker. they all are sitting in 1 area with common facilities. can reach for help from other department/ Business unit or other department.
    The challengesNot telling you what they want you to do. everything is in autopilot mode. Expect someone to have something to do (major agenda) so that will get notice. But they forget that doing nothing is also a good sign that everything is ok.

    Great culture, average salary
    The good thingsIKEA practices really good company culture and do takes care of their own people. Free parking, daily FIKA (tea), monthly makan-makan session with everyone, subsidised meals at the local co-worker cafeteria, staff purchase at 15%.
    The challengesThe career climb there is pretty slow as pretty much if the person above you doesn't leave, you're pretty stucked. However, if you're looking to change department or to leave to another IKEA store out of MY, can always look to apply as well! Salary is not competitive although the company often reviews from time to time to ensure that they are on par with market rate. If you're a contract staff of not more than 6 months contract, you won't be able to entitle to many company benefits. So please ask the manager or HR before you sign!
