It was a good experience, good enough to change my mindset. The good thingsWhat did you enjoy working here?
I enjoyed working as long as it comes to designing, but besides that, here i would say none. Its just plain work. Constant busyness. Its good place for those who love to seek out new challenges and wants to test their own limits, go beyond their comfort zones and grow. You get the chance to deal with people from bottom to the top, and learn valuable insights. Hands on experience. Deal with clients.
The challengesWhat the company can do to make working here better?
Lets be honest here. Company wants to make profit, period. Constantly try to strike new deal with customers, trying to out-win the competition, explore new areas while minimizing cost. However in my opinion, the company lacks empathy, meaning not just being caring but the ability to understand people on a higher level, whether it is the customer or the employees so that can create relationships mutually beneficial. Second thing is to know when to stop micromanaging. One a small scale project it helps, but on bigger scale projects micromanaging burns money and time. Management so much concern about the small things that sometimes they missed out the big picture and nobody who sees this want to say or take action because of poor relationship from top level to bottom, because again they lack empathy, which directly leads to reduced profit.
