Working QS and SS at least 64hours per weekThe good thingsGood thing is there's lesser restrictions working here, you would not need to wear formal office attire, a collar shirt and long pant will do. And you can listen to any music you like as long as it is not too loud in your room. Communication has not been a problem, to boss or to colleague as it is a small company, everything is just direct.
The challengesFirstly is the working hour, if someone would not mind imbalance work to life, working 64hours per week, this post might suit him. Next, is the work load, working as a QS with 3 major project on going consume most of my time, (measurement, progress claim, subcon claim, accounting, site issue), but boss would think getting you to supervise work progress, manage work flow, attend site meeting, settle dispute (as site supervisor) in one of your 'QS' project is easy as it is your 'QS' project, all thing are known to you. I would say all of these task is for two and a half man job.
