Good exposure but lacks career progression

The good thingsEngaged with different clients. Good exposure on how different industries' IT standard and process works. Everyone is like a big family, friendly colleagues.

The challengesFlat organization. Lacks career progression. No new hires, which means no one to handover your task to, even if you progress higher up the ranks.

Good managers and colleagues. Like family

The good thingsFriendly colleagues. No office politics. Managers seem to care for your well being. Regular makan trips and great company trips. There are many senior staff who has worked many years in the company, so seems like a happy and contented place.

The challengesSometimes harder to make friends if you don't speak mandarin, as half the team here are Chinese ed. But all can speak English. Somtimes, work can get so busy that seniors don't have time to mentor.
