    THE ONLY RETAIL GIVE WEEKEND OFF TWICE A MONTH
    The good things2 days off in a week, have a lot of Replacement off till can't have chance to use AL. Workload not so much. Bosses are very understanding & encourage to teach & customer also very less in weekday.workload is still bearable
    The challengesif you get promoted faster some pioneer batch will be doing some talk behind your back.🙂working in foodmarket people say its challenging but for me if you can manage your time & work very discipline and you can submit your work before deadline☺️most importantly do not complaint on too much work but only mouth is talking but the job still dont have any progress.😁

    The senior management was good while it was under a Japanese senior management but decline once a local became the Head due to lack of vision.
    The good thingsPreviously a person who performs well on his or her job are recognized and given career growth opportunity and challenges by giving different tasks. or department.
    The challengesA person is transferred to other departments without checking their interests or skills. Many good performers end up with poor performance in their new department due to the ow motivation caused by such transfers. There are no yearly feedbacks provided during evaluation for managers by the senior management, although the managers are instructed to provide performance feedback to their executives and other subordinates. Apple polishers & "yes man" are the people most appreciated now compared to those loyal and experienced employees who may have a different views but it's no longer is appriated.

    The good thingsI love my job with Isetan. The job scope may not tally with what I applied for. But after quite some time of learning and experiencing everything, I can follow and work on with my duty as Floor Manager. The management and people surround me are all cooperative and willing to help whenever I need help. I able to contribute on whatever experience that I has and I feel happy to share my knowledge with my colleague and dear staffs. Isetan would be a nice company to work with if you're a fresh graduate or even someone who is adventurous in working industry. With Isetan, I able to work by my own and with team. I even experienced to have a Japanese boss and work on with their work ethic. I would cry if I ever leave Isetan. Thank you for the experience and knowledge Isetan.
    The challengesI love Isetan and if they able to improve more on employee needs, Isetan will shine more than it is already are. Maybe Isetan can manage some working schedule in some of their branch and hire more staff to have a high quality service. If the employee are happy at work, they would serve the customer better. Thank you Isetan.

    Working in japanese retail its very challanging especially dealing needs and wants from customers
    The good things- price promotion - recurit more customer become member can get staff rewards such as vouchers - internal sales for staff
    The challenges- dealing with unspoken english and bahasa its very hard especially tourist - working on weekends and public holidays - dealing expired and damage product - dealing demanding and picky customers

    The good thingsclosely supervise, train and motivate staff. so that they can organize coorperative sales team, ensure best selling items and ensure that the information obtained from sales team is correct before passing on to the supervisor.

    The challengesOnly provide very basic staff's benefits like Medical leaves, claim and annual leave. No bonus and increment for those who join after July, and no increment for confirmed staff. Poor management. Very low budget. Unwilling to allocate budget to organize events.
