Good for freshies to gain new experience
The good thingsGood opportunity for freshies as you’ll be involved in various tasks and get to learn a lot along the way taking up major projects in malaysia. Good seniors to guide you in your tasks (depending on teams).
The challengesIncrement and salary isn’t too good. Not so appreciated for the work that you put in especially during tendering. ( no OT claim /extra allowance etc). Not much bonding between team members( depending on teams). Sometimes toxic culture when comes to OT

A good place for leaning and gaining experience during my practical training.
The good thingsI did learn new knowledge and at the same time the job scope is what I learnt during my classes at the university. The company has a positive working environment and various activities for the staffs strengthen the relationship among them. Due to systematic environment, the trainee will be always being supervised by the supervisor and seniors.
The challengesAs a trainee, the challenge was due to my own weakness. I was unable to manage my work properly due to it was my first time gaining experience as a quantity surveyor.

    Excellent platform for young graduate!!
The good things- Friendly environment to understand what you want in your career life - Potential grow company and investing employees in time and knowledge.
The challenges- Compromise too much on client. - Inflexible portfolio; some colleague will face 5-7 years on the same project because of the internal stakeholder's preferences.

I have worked in construction as quantity surveyor started from Nov 2013 until now.
The good thingsThe good thing at here, the bosses give you chances to explore all of the works by yourself but from time to time your workload is too much
The challengesThe challenges to work for this company is you must know everything even you are fresh graduates and the management is not well structured.

A starting point to a good career path
The good thingsThe strong emphasis on teamwork and giving due credit where it is worth in terms of bonus payments and non-wages benefits including overseas stints. There is little adherence to hierarchy with staff free to see the management if need arise.
The challengesThe fact that you need to multitask especially for supporting staff due to the non revenue earning roles that the responsibility entails. Challenging but it does allow you to be a good all rounder. For technical staff, the challenge is in handling clients who are mostly mega entities in the industry.

    Overall Satisfaction
The good thingsI enjoy to work together with my colleages and I am now under my Supervisor who always guide me in a professional way. They always check through my works and give advice to me about future and the right path to follow
The challengesThere are always tonnes of works especially in the mid of year. We have to work hard and efficiently and yet, we have to minimize our mistakes which we don't want to revise every time.
