What’s it like working at K-Talyst?

    AI summary of recent reviews

The primary advantage of working at K-Talyst appears to be the competitive salary structure, which is reported to be above market average.

However, several workplace challenges exist, including intensive monitoring practices and unclear expectations from management. The communication structure creates divisions between senior and junior staff, while work-life balance is impacted by expectations of constant availability. The benefits package is described as limited, particularly regarding leave policies and medical coverage, which may affect overall employee satisfaction.

    TOXIC CULTURE AND NOT PROFESSIONAL
The good thingsNOTHING GOOD FOR ME
The challengesNew hires, particularly younger employees who were new to the workforce, were often encouraged to keep their distance from more senior staff. This created an isolating environment and limited open communication across the team. Employee benefits were extremely limited. Leave policies were restrictive, and annual leave was only available after completing a full month of work. There was no year-end bonus during my employment. Management lacked clear structure and professionalism. Work expectations were often unclear, and employees were frequently contacted outside working hours for matters unrelated to their job scope, including personal tasks. Although management often emphasized the concept of “give and take,” expectations were largely one-sided. Employees had little autonomy, minimal voice in decisions, and very limited room for growth. Feedback was often discouraging rather than constructive. Constant monitoring through CCTV also contributed to a stressful work environment

High turnover- talented people don't stay long due to constant stress , toxicity , &LACK OF RESPECT.
The good thingsNONE, can't think of one good thing.
The challengesToxic Leadership - Selfish, never take lead the team to success, inexperienced and power driven management that leads though negative energy, not strategy Micromanagement- zero trust in employees, constant interference kills productivity and morale, and the bad attitude ladyboss will be too free to sit and check cctv and zoom in to see what's on your phone scree. even lunch hour. Verbally scolding- Some managers openly belittle staff, and talk behind and tell other colleagues you are the toxic, but she never lead well. Ladyboss also love to verbal scolding the staff eg: you are useless, stupid, and look down people and act like very arrogant and bad attitude Office politics : when I joined the boss said he don't allow office politics and he and his wife the lady boss makes the most office politics and also among those manager and team members. Medical benefit: the first ever company I been which only allow you to claim consultation fees ONLY

Toxic culture and not a good place to grow
The good thingsThe only pros is that the salary offered is quite above average when compared to other companies.
The challengesPerhaps starts with creating conducive and healthy workplace. Talking back about others weaknesses will bring more damage to the company as a whole. Some even making fun of your personal matters. Top management dont have clear vision. Treatment given is not fair among the employees (ie. only managers can come in late (without any reasons)). No work life balance at all too as you need to be on 24/7 with your work phone even if youre on leave, failed to do so, you will be questioned and 'rate' badly. With regards to company benefits, no medical benefits at all with minimum days of annual leave given.
