Micromanagement, Scared to speak up, expected to obey everything.
The good thingsThe only good thing I can say is that the salary was quite high, but that’s about it. I would only recommend this place if you want to gain skills, become highly disciplined, and mentally exhausted at the same time.
The challengesWorking at Kaison was mentally exhausting despite the good salary. The official working hours were 9AM–6PM, but employees rarely got to leave on time because overtime happened almost every day, sometimes until midnight. Even after working hours, staff still had to complete reports before being allowed to go home. The management culture was extremely controlling and full of micromanagement, where almost everything required GM approval, even leaving work. Employees constantly had to give updates every 10 minutes, creating unnecessary pressure and stress. Staff were also afraid to say “I don’t know” because they could be labelled incompetent or treated badly. The workplace felt very fear-based, where even small mistakes became a big issue. Annual leave during important occasions like Christmas was often rejected with unclear reasons, making it difficult to spend time with family. More than 8 staff resigned within 7 months, which already reflects how unhealthy the management culture was.

    Good working experience.
The good things1. The company maintains a well-organized work environment that promotes efficiency and productivity. 2. All tasks are carried out in accordance with established SOPs, which were developed through years of research, testing, and continuous improvement. This ensures that all data are consistently updated and easily traceable when needed. 3. Staff planning, particularly when applying for leave, is strongly emphasized. Proper planning ensures fairness among team members and allows colleagues who provide backup support to clearly understand pending tasks, preventing unnecessary workload and confusion. 5. The company also offers attractive benefits, including overtime claims, medical coverage, and parking allowances. 6. Overall, although the company is not as large as some major corporations in Malaysia, the top management—from the GM to the MD—consistently strives to provide fair and meaningful benefits to all employees, regardless of position or race.
The challengesCan consider to let staff to go back on time.

The company fosters a supportive and positive working environment for all employees. It provides excellent facilities, including a well-equipped break room with gaming equipment, a dedicated prayer room for Muslim staff, a pantry, and other amenities that contribute to employee comfort and well-being. In addition to a pleasant work atmosphere, the company offers competitive compensation. Salaries are reviewed and increased annually, and employees receive additional allowances such as parking and annual medical check-ups. The standard working hours are from Monday to Friday, promoting a healthy work-life balance. The team culture is highly collaborative, with coworkers consistently supporting and helping one another, creating a strong sense of community and teamwork.

It is good to join with if you are a scheming person
The good thingsOnce you get confirmed, you can enjoy a good working environment. Staff benefits are also quite good compared to many other companies.
The challengesOffice politic is too strong, especially finance department. Once you join, you cannot be too clever. If not, your colleague with the same ranking as you will do many things behind you until upper management decides to retrench you without any good reason.
