Kuala LumpurLess than 1 year in the role, former employee
role offered was completely different compared to actual role. It deferred from structure, reporting line, headcounts and regions. No compensation review was given and toxic and micro-managing local leadership team. Team leads are overworked and undercompensated leading to high turnover rate.
The good thingsGood benefits and hybrid work module was a plus.
The challengesVery little initiatives to retain Team Leads , no proper portfolio distribution or headcount allocation. Micro Managing style of leadership. No work life balance for those supporting two regions.

overall is good (team lead need improvement)
The good thingsnice office environment 50% working from home working place near public transport-mrt
The challengesIncompetent GL team lead, intensive leadership training is highly recommended in order to work and leading people professionally. it is impolite to disturb subordinate during leave taken/ sending unnecessary watsapp message during non working hour/ arranging meeting on malaysia holiday with oversea counterparty(nature of that meeting-subordinate are not really contributing to the meeting, should put optional or only team lead attend the meeting and after that communicate key point to team during working day).
