For me, Kewpie is a good place to work and grow. The people are supportive, the environment is friendly, and there are opportunities to upskill. Of course, not everything is perfect, communication and processes still need work but overall the company is doing well and getting bigger every year.
The good thingsThe team and management are supportive, and it’s quite easy to work with others. Work–life balance is manageable, and the company also organizes events like dinners, trips, and family carnivals. The bonus is also good (around 3 months). Training is provided to help us improve our skills.
The challengesSometimes communication between the KL office and Melaka HQ is not smooth, but it’s getting better compared to before. The company is also going through a lot of changes, so there’s still space to improve.

Challenge, fast learning position - SCM.
The good thingsA lot of training. Growing company. Challenging jobs. Will definitely growth and learned a lot. Good culture.
The challengesDaily routine jobs, side project jobs, other department-related jobs, ad hoc assignments from time to time, cost down from time to time projects.

if you're laid back and easy going, this is the place for you
The good thingsoffice hours is good, you're not expected to OT. Bonus 2x a year - but a so-so one, management is willing to listen, but taking action is another story.
The challengesNo one in the company is professional, including HR. Some employees would do things that only benefit themself but not the company. It's full of high-school mentality, it's claimed to be an "open environment" during interview, but a very toxic one on your first day.

Comfort Zone in KL but headache with HR
The good thingsEasy going Superior, have flexible time, friendly colleagues, stress-free
The challengesOnly Sales team & marketing team in KL, others in Melaka. It's tough to communicate with the HR members because they are quite stubborn. As KL team is just the minority, the staff benefits sometimes being neglected. Really feel unhappy and disappointed when need to deal with the members in Melaka factory.

    please be professional
The good thingsBenefits offered by the company is always sufficient, management is willing to invest for company
The challengesCoworkers are usually eyeing on what you are doing and speaking 24hr so be aware at all times. Staff are staying in comfort zone, not well conversed in english since need not to be educated to be hired

Sales team lead by the uneducated
The good thingsManage your own time, usually stress free on own sales schedule
The challengesSales& marketing team is lead by the young& uneducated ones causing the lack of communication, changing of directions, unprofessionalism in meeting and work, and lifetime in making all decision causing staff and customer's frustration.

    Not a long term career
The good thingsEasy going management and culture, big and comfortable office.
The challengesSome colleague are not simple that you need to be really aware. Doing unneccessary things and having long hoursss of meeting without conclusion decrease the efficiency of whole team. Company tends to hire and promote the long serviced but not intelligent ones, instead of those really capable potential staff.
