Friendly Local Team but Challenging Global Structure
The good thingsFriendly local office with a young and energetic team
The challengesMost collaboration is with managers and colleagues across different regions, requiring adaptation to different work cultures and sometimes leading to perceived favoritism. Compensation budgets are relatively low, and performance reviews follow a bell-curve distribution that may lower individual performance ratings

The only memorable things is my group of friends which we help and remind each other to make sure we perform together but the workload and challenges just getting worst.
The good thingsThe salary offered is good hence I've great experience thanks to my team or group of friends as we help each other to grow.
The challengesI find it challenging to keep up with constantly changing procedures, as it is difficult to memorize every update and less proper guidance. Despite this, there is an expectation that we make almost no mistakes, even when issues are not fully addressed which workload is getting worst as they prefer to polish the staff instead the product. As staff, we are required to continuously adapt and strive to meet targets or KPIs that sometimes doesn't make sense. There is also a high level of micromanagement, adding to the daily pressure.

Good place to start the career
The good thingsSupportive team. Office environment is also nice. There are team buildings and office events to get in touch with each other. Free food.
The challengesMinimal guidance from leaders. Should encourage work from home policy more effectively as this job is not required to be in the office. Focus too much on KPI even when the traffic is low

One of the best working experience ever.
The good thingsThe lovely office layout with a good facilities for employees. It's a great company with the Diversity and Multiculturalism. The way they appreciated and respected their subordinated cant be found in any other places. Apart of the visibilities of being accountable, the career growth here are in a steady pace which, it is achievable by following the guideline of the career path provided. The working environment that makes you felt like home with the positive vibes shared by colleagues and superiors, It's a one great company I ever joined. Being appreciated with what you did even it is as small as opening the door for others. I would grab the chances If I ever been offer to joined Klook again.
The challengesRegardless of the Multiculturalism and Diversity. Klook is an International Company which had various type of employees around the globe. The challenges are to able to understand in order to prevent any misconception between culture. For example, some words in Hangul ( Korean ) aren't suitable enough to be used as a title or to called your colleagues since it more suitable to be used in an informal ways.

Great and vibrant place to work in
The good thingsVery much exposure considering it is a startup. KL Office is the second largest office. Office has open space concept working environment. Very beautiful interior design. People here are young and energetic. Alot of events like breakfast Tuesdays or quarterly team building.
The challengesAs company grows bigger, politics and hierarchical structure cannot be prevented, but this really depends on which department you are in. This dynamic environment might not be suitable for people who are so used to the traditional corporate working environment.

    Good working environment
The good thingsFriendly environment, always do events for staff, there's always free food and good teamwork within colleagues.
The challengesTeam leader is not that helpful, more reliable to the senior in the office. Always changing SOP without clear briefing which we need to catch up ourselves. There's a lot of handling procedure that we need to memorize.

    Supportive work culture, SOP challenge
The good thingsFriendly work culture, team leaders are there to help in your concerns/query, nice salary as a freshie, refresher training every month to keep you updated
The challengesSOP keeps changing and sometimes confusing, too focus on touch point which is not that good when volume is low but you cannot dispute

The good thingsI have really friendly team mates and I do really enjoy the working environment here. At Klook, the career opportunities here are vast and you can grow not only vertically but also horizontally. We have breakkie day every Mondays and fruits day every Wednesday as well!
The challengesWith start ups, you can expect uncertainties and plenty of changes. But hey, I feel the processes are getting better compared to my day 1 here.

Great working environment and amazing colleagues
The good things1) Growth opportunity- could grow vertically and horizontally in the company. Climbing the career ladder and chances to join other department. 2) Working environment- conducive working place, open concept, young and vibrant 3) Learning curve- it's a steep learning curve everyday, lots of things to learn and implement
The challenges1) Fast paced company- since it's a relatively new company, there are many things that are not in place yet, but it is good to be a part in the company's growth. We get to experience new things

    Ambitious, Engaging and Fast Pace
The good things- Focus on efficiency instead of stalling and zooming into minor issues - Work life balance - We have Breakfast Day & Fruits Day! - Fun and exciting surprises e.g Jelly Moon Cakes for Mid Autumn Festival, Christmas Buffet Lunch! - Multicultural team = learning many languages, culture and meeting new friends
The challenges- Fast pace environment however it challenges you to be resourceful - Startup company thus certain things are not in place YET but it is a learning ground (its all about how you view things) - Ever growing company = constantly moving (all that clutter to clear; but well it is a form of spring cleaning)

Klook is a new company which is fast growing, however management are still in process of building and modifying. Therefore, is an frequently changing environment.
The good things-Flexible ( in some ways ) -My position and department are not very stressful -Gentle boss for my department
The challenges-There are no straight SOP on how to do on working at my task, and there will be keep changing the factor or criteria for me to make decision on my job. Quite difficult to cope because too much changing every month and will not get any notification when any changes made. -Management are not systematic enough and many things are not in according. ( Maybe because this office only establish for 1 year ) -Salary normal, but benefit are not good enough -Time issue, as working shift. Working time not stable .
