    The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (informally klpac) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to nurturing traditional and contemporary Malaysian performing arts.klpac is one of the most established centres for the performing arts in Malaysia. We wish to demonstrate how theatre, music and dance can play a central role in our lives by helping us shape our understanding of the world and to express that understanding so that it deepens our experience.klpac, born out of a shared passion of the arts, provided its Founding Partners, Yayasan Budi Penyayang, YTL Corporation & The Actors Studio Malaysia, with a vehicle to help and fulfilled its role as a community centre hub for the arts, educating artists and audiences and provide platforms for artistic endeavour.Located in an old, renovated railway warehouse in Sentul Park, klpac and The Actors Studio plays host to more than a hundred major events, as well as many other workshops, classes, film screenings and more. Many of klpac's events are self-directed, self organized shows. klpac also rents out their facilities, equipment other for individual performing arts events.The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre promotes, cultivates and nurtures the local performing art talents for the growth and sustainability of the performing arts industry in Malaysia.

    The good thingsWhile having the friendly working environment, all staff from every department are extremely friendly. Not only you would get to work behind the stage of every shows, at some cases you are allowed to watch internal show for free. Also, sometimes you get to meet a lot of Celebrities if you are lucky. Although the payment might not be high as it is a non-profit organisation, but you will definitely enjoy yourself working here.
    The challengesA few challenges such as stress level are moderate. Depending on the shows, it will require you to be careful while operating the ticketing system to prevent any possible error.
