A high-paying but unstable workplace with unprofessional leadership and a lack of fair employee treatment. The worst company I’ve ever worked for—thumbs down!
The good thingsThe company tends to offer high salaries only when in "desperate need of talent". In one instance, the CEO attempted to compensate staff who were "forced" to work extra hours by offering KFC(?) instead of appropriate remuneration. You might think it’s a joke, but this incident actually happened recently.
The challengesThe organization demonstrates a lack of job security, as employees may be let go at any time. There are no increments or bonuses, and overtime work is "not compensated". The HR Manager handles staff issues unprofessionally, often raising her voice at employees to vent frustration, vaping in the office, and disclosing confidential matters such as staff issues, terminations and warning letters to other staff members. Unfortunately, the behavior of the C-level executives and managers mirrors the unprofessionalism of the HR Manager.

Role misalignment, a chaotic work environment, and a toxic culture. A BIG, "NO"!
The good things- Ample parking facilities provided for employees, ensuring convenience. - Complimentary snacks and beverages available, fostering a welcoming environment. - On-site vending machine stocked with a variety of snacks, candies, and instant noodles for purchase. - A fun and supportive team culture that promotes collaboration and camaraderie.
The challenges- There is a noticeable lack of effective leadership, with many managers displaying unprofessional behavior and immature attitudes. - The position offered during the interview significantly differed from the actual role, revealing a disconnect in management's understanding of their own operations and priorities, which often seem to focus solely on financial metrics at the expense of employee welfare. - The atmosphere resembles a chaotic marketplace (pasar), with frequent shouting and an overall lack of professionalism. Additionally, common areas such as the kitchen and restrooms are often neglected, contributing to an unsanitary workplace. - The work environment is characterized by toxicity, with little to no opportunities for bonuses or salary increments unless there is favoritism from management, creating a biased culture that undermines employee morale.

While the competitive salary may serve as a stepping stone, the rapid hiring and termination processes show a lack of compassion. Many employees leave shortly after salary payouts, with little effort to address this turnover.
The good thingsThe company is conveniently accessible via public transport and major highways, making commuting straightforward. Additionally, the provision of free parking is a valuable perk for employees who drive. Another highlight was the availability of complimentary snacks in the pantry, which added a small but appreciated touch to the workplace environment. Furthermore, I found the executives to be approachable and supportive. Their willingness to assist, even across different departments, contributed to a collaborative atmosphere. Lastly, the company offers competitive salaries, which is certainly a strong incentive for potential employees. As a note for anyone considering an opportunity with Lapasar, I would recommend negotiating a higher starting salary, as salary increments and bonuses may not be a regular practice after joining, unless one aligns closely with management.
The challengesI encountered several challenges that impacted my overall experience; Firstly, I found the management, particularly the HR Manager, to exhibit unprofessional behavior. Interactions often felt dismissive and self-centered, which hindered open communication and team cohesion. Additionally, the lack of clear direction from management was a significant concern. The frequent changes in goals and priorities not only created confusion but also seemed to overlook long-term planning and adherence to employment laws, which affected staff morale. Recognition and appreciation were inconsistently applied, often favoring those who engaged in flattery over genuine contributions. This environment made it difficult for many employees to feel valued for their hard work. Career development opportunities were limited, and it was disheartening to observe that bonuses and salary increases appeared to be granted based on favoritism rather than merit. Lastly, the unpredictability of job security was troubling, as dismissals could occur without clear justification. This added to a sense of instability and unease among staff. I hope that by addressing these issues, Lapasar can work towards fostering a more supportive and professional workplace culture.

    Ideal for experience
The good things- started off as a fresh grad, built my experience and network and leadership, and after 2 years I received a very good job offer from an MNC which I would have never received if not for those 2 years of experience
The challenges- the two years were hard because a lot is demanded such as independent working and solving problems without guidance - very target oriented company

    Went for the interview.
The good thingsFriendly staffs. Open community. Legit business.
The challengesIf you manage to land an interview here, don't bother. Had my 1st day of the interview they already told us to make sales using your OWN phones. They gave us couple sheets of paper with hundreds of names and phone numbers for YOU to dial in your own phone and call to make sales. You're not even guaranteed a job yet at this point. They do this twice a week. Basically free labour and potential sales for them on those days. The high pay offer might bring you in, but trust me, it's not worth it. The office is a small, cramped office, with little to no air-conditioning. Overall, bad. Don't bother.

The good things- Parking - Spacious - Free pantry - Supportive colleague

A chance to experience speedy execution
The good thingsI think this is a great place to learn how to start on your own. The conception of an idea, the execution of that idea and the eventual monetization of it, you get to experience it all.
The challengesDue to the fast paced nature, it can get a little challenging and sometimes there is a lack of guidance but when you get a hang of it, you'll have fun.

    Fantastic Learning Environment
The good thingsIf you want to learn something, this is the place for you. The environment is rather supportive yet they expect you to be independent and pick things up fast. You will learn a little bit of everything as they are a startup and at some point, you would find yourself doing something that you never thought you would have done in the first place.
The challengesSometimes the workload gets a bit much as they are growing quite rapidly and understaff issues tend to show but this is usually solved when you let the management know and they usually hire support pretty fast.
