Leisure Holidays Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 17 September 1984 as a private limited company. It was founded by Dato’ Loy Teik Ngan and started business in 1986 as a timeshare company.It's first property was Leisure Bay in Penang, an abandoned project in Tanjung Tokong. Dato’ Loy who was exposed to the idea of timesharing during his days as a student abroad decided to use Leisure Bay to kick off business. Within the first five years, the company sold thousands of memberships and leased more assets in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands and Cameron Highlands. Leisure Holidays became one of the largest vacation clubs in the Asia Pacific. We also received awards from Resort Condominiums International (RCI) for being an important contributor to the industry.It became a public company on 21 December 1992 and is known as Leisure Holidays Bhd, in compliance with the new timeshare legislation. Today, Leisure Holidays Bhd has a paid-up capital of RM3 million.
