What’s it like working at Lim Seong Hai Group?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Lim Seong Hai Group appreciate the friendly and supportive colleagues who foster a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration. The company provides valuable learning and development opportunities through training programmes, diverse project exposure, and guidance from experienced team members. Management is generally described as approachable and professional, willing to embrace new technologies and methodologies. Employees value the challenging and engaging work that contributes to their professional growth, along with attractive employee benefits including wellness programmes, insurance coverage, and team-building activities. The overall working environment is positive, with good team spirit and mutual respect amongst colleagues.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. Work-life balance can be demanding, with long working hours and overtime being common in certain roles. Employees may need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst working with tight deadlines, which requires strong time management skills. Management support can vary across different departments, and some employees suggest that career progression pathways and standardised training content could be more clearly defined. A few employees note that salary increases and bonuses may not be as frequent as expected. The fast-paced environment requires employees to adapt quickly and continuously develop their skills to remain competitive in the industry.

Heavy responsibility and Low career progression.
The good thingsAs an Accounts Executive in the AP department, the workload has been quite light and manageable, and the compensation is above market level. The Management also able to assign (2) junior accounts staff to support my workload in basic tasks such as printing and filing, which helps daily operations run smoothly.
The challengesI feel there is limited clarity and opportunity for career progression within the department. Although I have been with the company since YA 2022, I have not yet been considered for promotion to a senior role. My current scope is relatively small, handling only 2–3 company portfolios with lower transaction volume compared to other colleagues. However, i will still highlight to my Colleague or Superior that im super super heavy workloads. I would appreciate my superior can promote me to Senior AP and raise my current package.

Gaji dibayar tepat pada masa tetapi kurang pengiktirafan dan proses HR yang tepat
The good thingsSaya menghargai bahawa syarikat sentiasa membayar gaji tepat pada masanya

positive workplace with great teamwork and a good balance between work and personal life
The good thingsThe company has a friendly and supportive environment where everyone is willing to help each other out. I’ve learned a lot about different areas of HR
The challengesOf course, the job can be challenging at times, especially when dealing with multiple tasks or urgent matters. But I see these challenges as good learning experiences because they’ve helped me improve my communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. The management team is approachable and open to feedback, which makes it easier to do our job well.
