    Good career opportunity for IT background.
    The good thingsI have worked as one of the IT technicians as part of my Internship journey. I must say that I am very impressed with the culture and work environment as it is a safe space to work and quite busy when it comes to peak hours. The staff are very friendly will guide you too. There are many incoming projects so you will be exposed to communicating with external clients to gain experience and I would recommend to someone with IT background to work here as you will have tremendous career opportunities, growth and to learn the Rare Earth Mining Industry.
    The challengesIn terms of salary wise, it has a decent pay. However, if you are a fresh graduate, the salary will be a bit low. I will say it is worth working here as you will gain experience and your salary will gradually increase if you stay with the company...

    The good thingsPeople surrounding are friendly and can learn a lot new thing, since it the only one company mining rare earth in this country. Their product very expensive and it used to make powerful magnet that use in many electronic stuff.

    my daily tasks are all urgent,not including special tasks which is more urgent
    The good thingsi love to stay at kuantan, the food is never be beat down by any other places. my point is nothing is good in this company after year by year they told u there is extra bonus for every worker, but u know what only executive and above received the bonus after we as a low level worker did a massive energy to company.....the only thing left to us is empty hope.waste time for a nearly 5 years.
    The challengesbeing a lab tech or under laboratory department is never be appreciate by others department. be ready to take the blame from others including Lab manager it self. lab manager should look at the problem closer, like the chainsmoker-closer

    The good thingsthe powerful when i working at lynas is team work,high puncuality. i can handling instrument AAS,ICP OES,HACH,UV-VIS,Titration,Digesting,AutoChoride and waste water treament. i work base on Company SOP and compare with result standard limits. fast action if have a abnormal result.
    The challengesi take the challenges to improve myself. in lynas lab we have 500 sample per day as a daily test. i can handle all the test with a great teamwork. we can manage all sample and time for make sure we got a great result

    The good thingsI can get more benifit from my salary and also this compny give me lots of chance to learn handling new eqiupment and some of analysis sample, data, titiration and safety training. And also thanks for be new culture in this industries. Working with them from others countries. At the same time I do learn seak fleacuently in english.
    The challengesSo far i still can handle many problems in my lab during my working time. Solve the problem during making sample. Im the one whos slove out this issue rather than the organise.

    The good thingsCompany started bussing in a number of highly-experienced Expatriates of which I had the opportunity to be attached to. The effort paid off as it helped to lift the company's production capacity. Benefits are great. Got to learn a lot from the problems and issues in the plant.
    The challengesNewly-commissioned plant demands extraordinary amount of hard work and time. Lots of issues and problems surfaced as would have been expected of a newly-commissioned plant, one whose technology has not been tested in the world yet.
