Lack professionalism and no company treats new recruits poorly
The good thingsOffice is clean and pantry well stocked.
The challengesSuperiors and seniors are ill equiped to handle matters outside of their roles and highly depend on external independent contractors to procure work or gain clarity on situations. Lack of trust on in house managers and very political in decision making process. No transparency in work and duties gets overlapped with co workers and demotivates staff. No proper guidance and direction from superior.

    It's a Career, not just a Job
The good thingsThe Management here are people orientated. Many staff are tenured staff between 10-15 years. The salary is competitive and the benefits are great. Even the Board of Directors are nice, and very down to earth. Perhaps because, many are educated overseas, they see life from a different perspective. If your leader is good, people tend to behave the same. The leader that sets the tone, the culture.
The challengesGen Y that join the company these days do NOT share the same values as before. Easy come, easy go and nobody cares. Even for RM50.00, they quit. You question their tardiness, they quit. They miss deadlines, you question, they quit. They report sick, no MC chit. You question, they quit. The younger generation these days (thanks to their parents), are spoilt and useless. Only 1/100 are good.
