Not the worst compared to other similar companies
The good thingsClean, well maintained facility. Fellow agents are some of the nicest people you will meet in your life.
The challengesPeople are not cared for very well. Operations obsessed too much on procedure and numbers, not human circumstances. Agents feel dehumanised.

Competitive Salary, Repetitive Work but less stress
The good thingsCompetitive salary- Basic Salary, Public Holidays Pay, Generous Monthly KPI Bonus and Overtime (but no Annual Bonus). Also given Annual Flexi benefits. Fun working environment. Easy to apply for Annual Leaves.
The challengesDo same things everyday (routine work) but less stressful. A bit hard to grow in same company but good enough to gain experience.

It was a great experience to learn and grow skillsets
The good thingsI had great colleagues and good team leaders (except the latest one, which is also the reason I left the company for a mental rest)
The challengesTime Coordinations, resource coordinations, stress management are required if you ever want to survive the workplace.

    Huge improvement 3 years
The good thingsOur team had opportunities in the communication speed. It took long for all of us to get the information and it was last minute. But now, everyone improved on this part.
The challengesLeave approval is still a challenge, would be great if we can approve more in the future.

Strong Engagement with Employees & Caring Management Team
The good thingsNo pay cut during pandemic period which really impressed me. During work from home period, I feel the management team is really care about us and always fast responsive on our issues such as payroll, technical, benefits and etc. I feel extremely "WOW" experiences after the management has been creating lot of fun activities and virtual annual dinners. Trust the management will be creating many fun activities in future.
The challengesTwo of biggest challenges for myself are workload and stress level. It's a high expectation on the KPI from client's but it's an achievable as long as pushing myself to maximum level. Next, my work life balance hard to achieve when work during weekend and less allocations for staff during festive seasons. Always stay sane to encourage myself.

A caring organisation and helpful team mates
The good thingsWhen dealing with the pandemic outbreak, the management was able to arrange employees to work from home rapidly . This was achieved with the team-works and the concerted efforts of all departments. Not only to protect the safety of employees, but the company has also made great efforts to retain its employees' jobs in such critical situation, so that we can work with peace of mind. Our support team and team mates are helpful and supportive while we are working from home.
The challengesThe job is challenging because of the target and keep changing policy from the client.

Company development stable with balance work life
The good thingseven during pandemic season company still manage to maintain employee's salary without pay cut .Besides, the company looks into employee's health issue ,allows the employees to work from home. They also provides a good working environment & benefits for employees.
The challengesthe only issue that need to improve is the leave application . There are many rules for applying holidays for content moderation project ,there's very hard for us to apply leaves. The leave only open for employee to apply 2 weeks before a particular new month & the headcount open to apply leave a day is very limited... is hard for us to plan for holidays

    The Majorel Experience
The good thingsEveryone has been helpful and friendly so far from recruitment to training up till now in productions. HR, Finance and IT are also friendly and extending help when needed.
The challengesNothing thus far however if I may suggest one thing, hope the company will switch from PC desktop to work laptop.

From Nay to Yay! Great improvement in 3 years!
The good thingsSignificant improvement from beginning till now. Management improved with an outstanding way and things is well controlled now. All feedback has taken place and come out with solutions. You always have right to share to upper management or HR in order to meet mutual goals. Every employee given chances to join company's engagement activities to share your talents. Flexi benefit helps to improve life's quality and reduce financial burden. Payment always on time, never delay and sometimes it will come earlier!
The challengesMaybe can have coffee machine that we can learn coffee art. Or Canteen to save us to think what to eat daily.

Navigate yourself accordingly, you shall feel blessed
The good thingsI was blessed to have great team members, despite all of them being non-locals. Learnt new language, them being thoughtful and all your opinions mattered and discussed. The HR are super helpful with any queries 24/7. Classes are provided in lieu with opportunities to go further the stairs.
The challengesBeing a BPO - any words by clients are treated with extra care and too many last minute changes and movements.

Unfair distribution of tasks, unproductive colleagues
The good thingsSo far theres no good things besides that employees are allow to work from home
The challengesUnfair distribution of work, some mods are assigned difficult queues all the time, and some are assigned an easy queue all day. Please treat all the employees fairly and equally. Many try to avoid work, the difference between hourly productivity of employees who were assigned to same queue is huge. The KPI gets harder and harder to achieve.

    Many lazy employees, horrible magement
The good thingsGood for people who love to be surrounded by lazy colleagues, amazing for people who enjoy doing more tasks but getting the same level of salary as the lazy ones
The challengesToo many lazy employees, but the management team doesn't care about it

Focus on front line agent, poor management
The good thingsColleague and work from home due to pandamic nowadays.
The challengesPoor management from Operation and HR. Wrong information given sometimes, communication gap, messy work environment, hard to adapt because things changing too frequent and no memo or notice given usually (sometimes you get changes in very last minutes ...within 24 hours). Double or triple workload due to lacks in communication and UNCLEAR INSTRUCTIONS most of the time. Don't think about work life balance if you're support staff. Fixed overtime rate rm30/hour regardless how much your basic salary is (even on public holiday). Asking for continue support without nothing back more.... Bad luck if you been assign to supervisor that do everything in her own way without listen to anyone... small team can have a huge politics issue...
