    Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) was incorporated on 16 April 2010, to function as an independent non-profit organization under the custodian of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). MARii role is to serve as a focal point and coordination centre for the development of the local automotive industry. As a coordination centre, MARii coordinates all matters related to automotive industry, including formulating national automotive policy, managing manpower development programme, formulating and coordinating automotive related research and development.
