    The good thingsGood colleague and nice take care to sharing food on working hours.
    The challengesNot really a good organizations without caring our staff benefit. Our commercial (Head) just look on his own benefit with nothing flight to us. BAD

    Since 2016, MSC's performance has been mediocre in the past period of time, and its performance has fluctuated greatly.
    The good thingsPoor management took over
    The challengesAs a century-old company, the problems faced by MSC are not only insufficient domestic tin supply, but also a major problem in efficiency caused by poor management. The profit margin has stagnated for a long time, which greatly limits the company's room for development.

    The challenges1. Many unrelated job scope 2. No mentorship 3. Expect messages and phone calls on your rest days and after your working hour has finished.

    The challengesUpper management will very much not appreciate your hard work. They are not commensurate with all the hard work and effort that goes into their work. They'll put you in a position above your pay grade, but if there's some minor non-compliance issue, they won't offer you a raise or a promotion even if you hold a lot of performance.

    The challengesThere are still lots of space for improvement on management, organizational structure, processes, systems, transparency and communication. Suggest to open sharing who is getting 6 month bonus on April 2023. i believe got 1 ladies (mini copper) get 6 month. TQ

    The good thingsIf you have other options, go for it, just not here. If you stay "Yes man. Yes, Yes, Yes" and get your work done you have a chance of surviving. If not you most likely will become a victim.
    The challengesYou get to do what you have been asked for, however it will never be enough, even though you had already done extras. The career/team structure was set to you to the extend which you somewhat are doing other's job, yet it doesn't considered as your contribution as your role, unless you highlight them aloud just to get noticed. Basically, the direction of your role will never be exact, as it's always changing every other days. Cross-role is expected. In fact, you have to always guess what's coming tomorrow and be prepared at all time. Interns? Highly not recommended to come if you want to get a proper industry training/experience. Good luck if you are applying here la~

    Good looking from outside, inside is another story
    The good thingsManagement always change the decision, make staff learn emergency response like not direction to all.
    The challengesPeople are leaving because of limited career opportunities & not getting respect from new HR department from PI. There is no proper career development plan for employees. GHR management is not good at spotting great talent. Additionally, employee benefits have been cut since 2016. For example, we used to get service awards (token of appreciation) every 5, 10, and 15 years of service to the company. However, this is history. We used to be good employer, but we are no longer due to the fixed mindset of new management special for DECO & admin. Hired Contract old Manship which are can't Work, Only talk talk talk without performance for operation.

    Adequate not good and not to bad specially for overtime
    The good thingsEnjoyable overtime for everyday without limit. Everyday work until 10.30pm with time 2 paid when work over time. Not overtime control and not need permission by HOD. Beside that no tension in department, time to time eating in office, BEST.
    The challengesPoor leadership and management for HOD. No knowledgeable and poor working life.

    The challengesManagement and culture is very Chinese so lots of games and politics to deal with each day. Lack of leadership and understanding of how to develop employees and teams.

    Poor HR Management, the rest are good in other depaetment
    The good thingsBenefits and perks are excellent - 16% EPF employer contribution, but zero month bonus pass 4 years. Most process are well defined and structured.
    The challengesNot team playing spirit, bad leadership, terrible work life balance. Other departments have good and strong leaders to flight their benefit. Culture vise are more local focus, though is a listed compant.

    The good thingsGood working hours and freedom clock in/out. Time very flexible and not need apply annual leave.
