Give me a lot of exposure
The good thingsGood working environment, you are given an opportunity to grow and it can increase your ability to multi task. The staffs are really nice and there is not much boundary between the boss and regular staff. You are working in as a one family.
The challengesLow salary increment, but that what you will expect in an NGO, and absurd demand from the council and other people that is not even your bosses.

    Great working environment
The good thingsEveryone was very helpful in ensuring that I have learned and understood the task given. It was a great experience to be able to go out of the office and into nature to conduct research and reach out to the public regarding nature conservation awareness.
The challengesIt is quite hard to get food here unless you have your own transport.

Good for those who seek adventure
The good things1)Able to travel around the country to handle projects 2)Learn from researchers/scientist from local university and also foreign countries 3)For those with good outdoor skills will be helpful 4)You'll learn to talk to various types of people and must willing to approach strangers and ask for info or interview them
The challenges1)Busy schedule, usually outstation for at least one week a month. 2)As an NGO they usually have slow career progression and lower pay than the average. 3)Managers usually will assign you multiple task and expects you to handover the report within a short period of time. 4)

Good potential ruined by poor management
The good thingsOrganization provides good exposure to the industry, and opportunities to be involved with other organizations/ professionals are abundant. Good place to gain experience in the industry and to be involved in various types of work scopes.
The challengesThe organization does not provide adequate training or guidance, and often do not have a clear direction on what their expectations are from an employee or a particular portfolio. Employees often have to use their own initiatives to learn skills required for the job. Employees also often have to do a lot of other things outside of their portfolio/ responsibility due to resource mismanagement.

The good things-plenty of networking experience -surrounded by nature -supporting a good cause i.e. conservation
The challenges-expect more guidance from the management -expect flexible working hours -expect more understanding superiors -expect pay to correlate with experience and workload
