There is no systematic approach to improve management and many departments are led by incompetent staff.
The good thingsIt is a new university with a fresh environment and the facilities are quite new and adequately provided.
The challengesThe challenge is to cope with office politics and bear with incompetent managers who often upset your motivation to be a better lecturer.

Poor Management,Ethics and Soft Skills Among All Staff
The good thingsNothing stand out to make it memorable working experience.
The challengesMultitasking with jobs not related to scope and being taken for granted by others in Academic/Non Academic departments to carry some load of their work. A challenge
The good thingsBeing in an educational background, MIU provide a great platform to create big experience and opportunities. Working here made me want to expand my knowledge, and that is what MIU believed in, knowledge. And with that, I gain confident to face more challenges. As of being challenged, you will want to be challenged in order to move forward.
The challengesExposure of the university would be the challenge. Many prospect student does not know about MIU, just yet. And that has become the role of the each and everyone in MIU, from students to staff to make sure MIU stands among other famous universities/colleges in Malaysia.

    PR and marketing
The good thingsIs a global working environment with all kind of races and nationality. everybody is very closed to each other and we practice open communication . You have a chance to communicate straight to upper management without any biasness and office politic is not allowed here. internal promotion and bonus as a reward for staff achievement in their performance. students are quite friendly and independent.
The challengesThe challenging part is when you are not 'speaking in the same language' and the different cultural barriers especially when the management is still practicing centralization on the decision making. The system used is too rigid and straight forward imported from originator of the host country. Technology and system whereas should suitable and fix to the opearating country that run the business.
