Good experience, & meet a lot of people
The good thingsI like the colleague & team I'm working with. Very friendly & support you in time of need.
The challengesI think the working hour. Need to work on sat & sunday. I understand they give replacement leave. However, that is not enough. I think should consider giving OT allowance.

    Micromanagement and Manipulative Company
The good thingsLearning platform on how to manage difficult people
The challengesThe company likes to hire fresh graduates so that they could use them as much as they can. High turnover rate, reason given is because it is a growing company, however that is not the case. The company does not believe in work life balance. Work should and must be your life.

    Good for gaining experience
The good things1. The colleagues are supportive and implement a teamwork mindset as decision-making were done collaboratively 2. Meetings were also held regularly to ensure that everyone is on the same page 3. Management can be understanding regarding annual leave 4. As colleagues on the team were from similar education background and age, I felt at ease approaching and discussing with colleagues regarding work and personal matters 5. Convenient location 6. Test time management skills
The challenges1. Due to the nature of the work, staffs may be required to work after working hours and on weekends 2. Rapid changes in company structure which may not be the most optimal for everyone 3. Career development limited due to size of the company 4. Number of reports can be high

    Good environment and teamwork
The good thingsEnjoyed the working environment as colleagues and managers are helpful and encourages teamwork. Colleagues are friendly and easy to work with. Managers are approachable and provides constructive feedback to further improve efficiency and quality. Director is open to feedback on how to further improve the work environment. Work is rewarding with scholars when you see how they improved.
The challengesToo many paperwork and reporting which takes up a lot of time. There is room for improvement on making reporting easier and less time-consuming. These takes time away from longer communication with scholars which might be more beneficial for them. Apart from that, it is a good company to build your leadership and team player skills.

Supportive team, the director is humbled person and open to feedback
The good thingsGood teamwork which supports each other, sharing ideas and solutions. The director is very open to feedback from staffs as it can improve the management better. Leaders and seniors always lead newly joined staff well. No stressful workload, no office politics.
The challengesLast minute changes in some works but as we have a very supportive team, every work is done well. Sometimes need to work on weekends but not very frequent as management gives rotation schedule to other staffs and we also have replacement leave for it. Overall, the challenges can be managed wisely.

    Fun people and great culture
The good thingsA good team where everyone will share each others workload or provide moral support. The whole team are resourceful and value team spirit.
The challengesIts difficult to find great team like this anywhere else. Meanwhile, the challenge that we encounter are mostly due to having too many last minute changes but we sort of got a hang of it already.
