What’s it like working at Mindvalley?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Mindvalley appreciate the amazing people they work with from diverse cultural backgrounds, as well as the beautiful and fun office environment. They value the learning opportunities provided and the high quality teams across tech, design, writing, and customer support.

However, some potential challenges include the frequent changes in processes and methodologies, which can be frustrating for employees. There also appears to be a lack of structure and hierarchy, with unclear promotion paths and limited oversight. Additionally, the company seems to encourage a short-term focus, with employees expected to learn as much as possible within 2 years before moving on.

Endless process changes as management wants!!
The good things- High quality tech team, designers, writers, and customer support team & Beautiful office space
The challengesMethodologies and processes change a lot! and very often, they never stick to ANYTHING for more than a month, this is quite frustrating (i know that management will not own to this and they will try to justify it somehow) but in a company of this size and with the amount of people you need more than 4 weeks to try a new process of doing ANYTHING.

    Mindvalley in a nutshell
The good thingsAmazing multi-cultural people. Center of KL. Fun and cozy office.
The challengesNo hierarchy, you don't know how and when you get promoted. Chaotic and working in ad hoc way. No superior to watch over your work. If you did a mistake, you'll be screwed.

    Awesome company culture
The good thingsI learned a lot there. I learned how to be more assertive in my work, I am given enough space and opportunity to execute and definitely able to mingle and mix with a lot of insanely great and awesome people.
The challengesAverage age for Mindvalley employees are around 25 ish. If you are 29, you are already slightly ahead of the bell curve. The learning experiences are awesome, but to make a career there is another matter. The company encourage you to learn as much as you can for 2 years or more and then move on. Or Create your own gig with what you learned.
