    The good thingsI enjoyed working with a truly multinational crew onboard, where everyone could collaborate and support each other despite our different backgrounds. The accommodation, food, and overall welfare provided were first-class, creating a comfortable and motivating work environment. MISC also played a major role in shaping my career right after graduation — the experience, exposure, and opportunities I received allowed me to grow rapidly. I’m proud to say that within just six years, I’ve been able to build a strong career foundation and achieve personal milestones such as purchasing properties and establishing a stable life.
    The challengesOne area for improvement is the enhancement of benefits and allowances to better reflect the demanding nature of offshore work. Additionally, expanding the marine benefit medical card to include single's parents would create a more inclusive and supportive benefits package for employees with different family responsibilities.

    A very refreshing ambience and lead by seasoned C-suite department head. An extremely excellent team work environment. An open door corporate policy and always assisted by department head whenever seeking assistance on high level management matters.

    Terrible GLC Company. Far from my expectation!
    The good thingsMany Benefits i.e Housing loan subsidy, car loan, pregnancy coverage etc
    The challengesTerrible. Too much politic and nonsense company culture that has to be stopped! Otherwise many people will come and go. Spoke to HR but HR doesn't helping at all. Low salary for local employees but high salary for expatriate. Too much workload but never value their employees.

    The good thingsCompany policies is very solid and direction very clear. If you follow the company strict policies then all should be fine. The benefits is the best. they provide unlimited hospitalization medical card under AIA.

    The challengeswhen a new shareholder , Petronas Bhd. took over the management of MISC , they did introduce many O & M changes that was stressful to me . Petronas also closde the liner department and sold off many liner container vessels. they offered and i took the Voluntary Separation scheme to be an enterprenuer.

    I am a Chemical tanker experience, A Second Engineer with Chief Engineer license. I been in a tanker vessel more than ten years, as well on my position as Second engineer. i've also in FPSO which is an oil/gas vessel based in Lagos Nigeria and Abidjan.
    The good thingsI would like to work with this company, first a new experienced secondly i believed this is a good company.
    The challengesTo carry out the job promptly by virtue of good management and leadership, practice good and harmonious relationship which i believed that can contribute a world class asset of the company. all safety measures be done as the company procedures, including documentation, permits and a daily tool box meeting. all pertinent reports must be adhere and accurately checked / updated. the better monitoring of good management increase the integrity of the company that no accidents happens, that all vetting inspection be passed for the benefit of new prospective client which a new venue of Job for the seafarer and most likely the company.

    The good thingsI have started with this company since the academy. It was a good experience working with the company as I learned many skills and things what should a seaman would have to know. Overall, it was a good company with good men and so far one of the best company to start your carrier as a seafarer
    The challengesThe salary was not good enough compared to the other company who running the same business. The HR people were good but there are some points where the HR need to improve such as crew management. Other than this, for me, it was a great opportunity to work for this company.
