    If can change and revamp HR department ( known as People and culture ) MSM will be one of the company to work with.
    The good thingsWorking environment is good . Supportive subordinate and superior.
    The challengesHR personnel not competent at all especially those who are in leading in HQ and Sungai Buloh Warehouse. Very lousy HR personnel that led to demotivation among operational staff.

    My exeperience in this company was 2 years and more what can i say this company are not bad.
    The good thingsThe management are good, HR and Supervisor are very strict, have a lot of good and suppotives friend. And easy to get a food
    The challengesLot of foreigner worker, dirty workplace, very low salary, sometimes bus have problem, heavywork,and some workplace are hot.

    The good thingsIt was a wonderful exposure to work with GLC. Being top sugar manufacturer, MSM was such a exciting place to work with.

    The good thingsGood place and nice environment. Benefits for staffs is quite good - medical coverages for whole family, dental for family members, optical, subsidized housing loan, work life balance is quite okay depends on ur department. people are friendly.
    The challengesits just that, need to manage some office politics and old timers (staffs working here for so long so they are not ready for new changes) and also since its main sugar refinery in malaysia so before made decission (stop production etc) must think of our downstream customers supply first. Feel like nak tak nak, need to continue production despite got problems. Career growth is so so, since not many people old people want to resign so competition a bit tought. Imposible to let many people get promotion at once right? if yes, then who's going to be exec/ engineer if others need to get promoted to manager level.

    The good thingsMSM is a big company name with good records. i truly enjoy working there. HR engagement to employees are by far good. theres a monthly activity i joined every months. and can work at home ( depends on work). Eventho its fast pace, still, we can catch up
    The challenges- location city centre, so its jam badly. parking hard to find plus expensive, and cafeteria always run out of food, if we dont hurry.

    Not recommended bacause this is the worsted food manufacturing companies
    The good thingsNever have a good things.. From top management actually a big problem. Too many turn over manpower. Not satisfied with hygiene and GMP required. Many problems about quality. Stressful company never have work life balance
    The challengesThey have worst management. Too long meeting everyday. No solution, less solving problems, out of management skill at all.

    Great place to learn
    The good thingsMSM is a group that is very sensitive to its workers needs. As a group it is still in the setting up phase where a lot of benefits are given on a ad hoc basis and not to all employees. The company gives us enough room for improvement and advancement and the best part is that the Bonus and EPF contribution are great.
    The challengesSugar is a commodity, and as such most public holidays are working days. Other than that mostly the critacallity of the equipment failures, you would get midnight and odd hours calls, which can be tiring sometimes.
