MSP one happy familyThe good things- Flexible working hours
- Understanding and reliable managers and to an extent, upper management
- Increments and bonuses are doled out once a year according to your KPI
- Medical insurance is covered
- You are encouraged to take up as many professional certs as possible, all covered by the company. And sometimes, you will be rewarded monetarily if you complete certain trainings/certs by a certain deadline
- All employees are close with each other, and can be considered as 'family'
- Career growth is encouraged here. You can be promoted from one position to another, with merits of course
The challenges- Increments aren't reflective of the current increment rate in the industry, which I think should be improved
- Office politics are still there if you look for it hard enough among certain departments
- Certain departments have communication issues with each other, causing issues when it comes to project handovers as one department can be totally in the dark when new projects flow in
- When you are promoted to an upper position, you are expected to learn on the job instead of being properly trained for the role, which can have its own downsides
- You may be expected to work during weekends and public holidays (for certain departments), but OT is claimable
