    Think twice before you join
The good thingslots of exposure but do expect high expectations good benefit but company is losing their performance high salary
The challenges-high workloads, non stop adhoc, long working hours -finance is obligate to know & resolve everything, so sometimes you can expect other dept to sit passively and feign ignorance -most of the management practice favouritism -potential talent is overlooked and kept silent

    Overload, No work life balance
The good thingsGood benefit and perks.
The challengesCompany is not willing to hire more people, only 1 fico exec for each plant, staff is burdened with overload works therefore it is hard to take leave. No life, working like 12hrs/day and continue on weekend. No OT allowance for exec level. MY reporting is still manual, using excel! way behind compare to other MNCs. So everyone will have different template for same reporting. Management level not respecting staff, calls for meeting after office hours. Sick environment, people not responding to emails, not attending to meeting. company keep promoting career progression but in reality, very hard for fico people in factory to move to other roles. Only HOU people keeps jump from 1 position to another. Nestle is F&B company, but canteen food is very disappointing.

I feel more like a co-workers with people here rather than a student who is doing intern.
The good thingsDiversity, inclusive, acknowledged and equity
The challengesAs an intern there’s no specific job scope and to learn is self initiative.

Some old timers managers lacks basic social skills.
The good thingsGreat salary, great benefits. Great physical working environment, great pantry. The brands and products are good. More work-life balance due to bureaucratic nature. Pretty fewer responsibilities compared with other leaner companies (e.g. 1 project divides into few people to do) Very process oriented company.
The challenges- Employees lack accountability on a project or task because the job spread across a few people. The company make sure you know you are just the headcount. It will be happier to prepare yourself with this mindset before you join this company. - Appreciate managers go more to people management or coaching training because they lack communication skills. Prefer email over talking to you and lacks compliance knowledge yet punish subordinate for pointing out. - Make most decisions based on past glory experience with Nestle and past allies. Keep challenging data as a way of doing their job instead of accepting the fact and proposing forward actions. - 1 simple task can be done by a few people. Asking for information can be painful especially they hold back information for unprofessional reasons. - People are superficially professional and prefer to gossip at the back.
