    It's a great company to work for if you are looking for a stable and comfortable working environment. Skillsets are abit niche as it is Semicon with Manufacturing.
    The good thingsJob stability, Good working environment and a good place to learn skills in many different aspects.
    The challengesCareer progressions are static, the prioritization is more on years of experiences and not really on performance.

    It use to be the best company to work with. High salary, high increment, work life balanced but now is different. The say work life balance but they love to dismissed people from company to save cost
    The good thingsFlexible working hours for non production employee. Able to work from home
    The challengesLow increment percentage. It used to have competitive increment and salary during freescale time but when nxp take over increment is quite bad. Reason being is to cover those sector that didnt perform very well

    1) Expect engineers to work 24 hours to release lot. Almost everyday(mostly night) there will be a call to release lots which is not even my process related issue. 2) No shift tech support provided, engineer's need to release lot or answer call's related to line issues at wee hours. I have had sleepless night's and migraine due to this. 3) No career growth since good projects are given to manager's favourite engineer whom doesn't even know the basics of their own process :( 4) No proper training provided for new hired engineers. 5) Engineer's waste most of their time fighting with QA for lot release approval. 6) Very boring Team Building activities due to cost saving. 7) Work life balance preached by Management is non-existent for certain Job title's at NXP.
    The good things1)Great colleague's that are willing to share knowledge and provide support. 2)Improvement in terms of tech 3)Good EPF & Bonus

    The good thingsVery supportive team mates. Everyone keen to learn new things for improvement. Very good working culture. Quality mindset. Company takes most of the PH. Very well trained and experienced technician. Benefits are still ok. Managers are very experienced personnel.
    The challengesQuality is the main key with QA is doing good job for being tough. Expect to stand by on weekend since production is 24hrs. No OT for exec only leave as replacement.

    The good thingsNXP applied flexible working hours but we have to comply with the core hours which is start from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. NXP also consider one of the good company because it's offer stock sharing for those who perform well.
    The challengesMy personal opinion for those who want to join manufacturing company like NXP, you need to understand that this company run 24/7 and you have to be ready to support production at anytime when it needed.

    Great Company but depends on how is your boss
    The good thingslots of benefits and good increment. depending on the boss, company policy tries to treat you like an adult. again, depending on your boss yaa.
    The challengeseverything is urgent. small issue will have high implication since we are producing safety components (air bag, braking system, Etc). This company operates 24hr/364 days a year. so, your work never ends. reduce? no. everyday increase. you need to be fast and work day and night.
