The good thingsA great company to work with in the construction industry. The management team is supportive and provides clear guidance on both projects & safety. Employees are given opportunities to learn and gain hands-on experience in different aspects of construction. The company supports SHO by sending them to continuous education programs and bearing the associated costs, as well as by providing in-house safety training. The work environment encourages teamwork and professionalism, which helps projects run smoothly and efficiently. The most important factor that has encouraged me to spend more than 10 years in this company is the support of the senior directors, which is crucial for implementing and maintaining a safe system of work.
The challengesThe company should start screening subcontractors by evaluating their past project safety compliance. Contractors with low compliance with site safety requirements should be removed and replaced with new contractors. Furthermore, all contractors should be made aware that safety will play a significant role in the contractor selection process.
