Great opportunity to learn and progress
The good thingsOpportunity to work with talented professionals and amazing directors and partners; Able to progress to next career level quickly with good performance; Exposure to cross border projects and large multinational clients; Great HR and IT support
The challengesDue to the nature of the job which is driven by deals - there is pressure to perform and complete deliverables within a short time frame; Can be tiring due to expectation to manage deliverables, external and internal stakeholders while adhering to strict deadlines

    Challenging but worth it!
The good thingsI am in the Financial Services industry which is one of the challenging industry to be participated in. The exposure while working in PwC is very valuable and relevant to me. The People Committee with the tagline #FSJAGAFS gives positive impact to me especially while working from home, in which the People Committee keep providing support to the staff in the department by supplying emotional support and material things (i.e token, care pack etc). The Company itself provides up-to-date information and relevant regulations that may impact to our auditing process throughout this tough covid-19 outbreak time.
The challengesAs expected, the job scope as an auditor is challenging enough for a person to carry on but the keys are to keep learning and improving.

    Internship
The good thingsI love the working environment and how helpful my senior was in teaching me about audit. They are very encouraging and not judgemental towards you if you dont know certain things as you have no working experience.
The challengesThe audit line itself. As we know audit working lifestyle are unhealthy and are not work life balance as you are expected to work more than the working hours. And it is a norm for you not to go home if your seniors are not going home yet.

    Professional
The good thingsEveryone is professional and friendly in the firm. They are eager to help you learn but still provide space for independence. Superiors are not afraid to criticise your work, but also provide guidance.
The challengesOn certain days, as an intern, there isn't much to do. So those days get pretty boring.

The challengesDealing with higher level people will be the biggest challenge as we are not accustomed to their preferences and characteristics.
