What’s it like working at Rehda Institute?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Rehda Institute consistently praise the friendly and supportive colleagues who create a helpful team environment. The organisation offers extensive learning and development opportunities, allowing employees to gain exposure to various aspects of the real estate industry and corporate environment. Reviewers particularly value the networking opportunities with government officials and corporate leaders, as well as the supportive management that encourages new ideas and allows employees to explore different roles. The organisation also provides good career prospects, opportunities for promotion, and competitive benefits including medical insurance and performance-based rewards.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. The workplace is fast-paced with high expectations, which can be stressful initially and requires quick learning and strong multitasking abilities. Short deadlines and busy periods may occasionally lead to work-life balance challenges, with some requirements to stay back for large events. As a growing non-profit organisation with limited resources, employees may need to work quite independently during peak times. Some reviewers note occasional communication challenges between colleagues, and suggest that management could provide clearer KPI expectations and more structured support for fresh graduates and interns, though the organisation demonstrates willingness to listen to feedback.

High level corporate exposure but high expectations from dealing with corporate captain VVIPs (Tan Sris & Datuks)
The good thingsGet to meet many people from various companies, Government, corporate captain VVIPs (those that appear in business newspapers). A lot of learning on how to deal with various stakeholders (including Government, VVIP - Datuks & Tan Sris). Management gives a lot of room for you to implement new ideas and try new things (provided you have gained their trust - which may take a long time). If you have new ideas and willing to work hard to take initiative (again, need to work very hard to gain trust and confidence), sometimes happy to see the results from the contribution in the press and newspaper. Good tough training to start your corporate working life, but toughens us up for anything that comes in work and life. Supportive management that encourages a lot of self-improvements. Opportunities for promotion. They will not judge you on your background but will allow you to experiment on areas outside your field of training (example if from accounting background but interested to do marketing and events etc). So good for those people who want to do new things.
The challengesVery fast paced and very high expectations from dealing with VVIPs (Datuks and Tan Sris and corporate leaders), especially events involving press which can't make mistakes. Need to be good at multitasking. Sometimes, due to less resource, may be stressful during busy periods and we need to work quite independently and be street smart. Not a lot of hand holding and have to be street smart. Colleagues is actually helpful but sometimes they also have a lot of workload. During large events, may need to stay back to help out on setups and all but good team bonding and getting to know fellow colleagues.

    Good Learning Opportunity but Challenging
The good thingsGood place to start and learn to be more efficient in the working place, friendly and helpful co-workers that encourage you to stay motivated, and opportunity to improve yourself as a whole and learn about the working life.
The challengesFast paced and can be quite stressful at first, deadlines can be quite short sometimes, thus quite an unbalance work-life cycle. One who wishes to work here must stay strong emotionally and mentally.
