Decent place to get into Strategy ConsultingThe good things- Good opportunities for growth (you get responsibility a lot earlier than expected)
- Meritocratic culture, you will get promoted quicker if you're good
- Conscious effort to allow more international and regional staffing & training (but could be improved compared to competitors)
The challenges- Lower pay than industry standard (higher than big 4, but lower than all other strategy houses)
- Couple of bosses don't actually care about consultants' wellbeing
- Too many projects to a single industry (not enough diversity)
- Often understaffed for projects and projects which have overpromised (generally worse work life balance than industry standard)
