The challengesThe work environment at Shipco Transport Sdn Bhd was toxic and exhausting. Tasks were often unfinished, and employees were frequently disturbed during holidays, MC, and annual leave, with extra days required to compensate. Management was incompetent, avoided responsibility, failed to support juniors, and shifted blame downward. Hard work was never recognized, and office politics and favoritism were rampant. Staff were constantly forced to attend company events, including rushed and tiring annual dinners, even when work had to resume the next day. Overall, the job offered no enjoyment or reward.
