    Don't event apply for any post for the IT department in SOGO will waste your time if your current job is stable.
    The good thingsTime pass very fast, have good team to work with .
    The challengesThe management will not bother on IT technology they still using old back end system, Server still using blade server, the tech refresh already more then 2 years still compare and compare don't have conclusion, Management just drag and pending your proposal until you give up your self. POS system very old version keeping customise example you have a proton but you keep modified become like a BMW. No budget for new hardware and software. Senior Manager only keep asking you do comparison but at last keep reject by the management, Currently SOGO management was come from PARKSON same mindset management approach, please don't even hope SOGO have new technology refresh for upgrade. They have advertise new management post good luck to the successor.

This company is stuck in the past, run by “dinosaurs” who say they welcome feedback, but take it personally when you suggest improvements. You'll quickly be labeled as "rude" or "disrespectful." There's little space for growth, and privacy doesn’t exist — people expect you to share every detail of your personal life, or you're considered impolite. Facilities? Elevators and escalators love breaking down. Parking is expensive unless you're ready to walk from far away. Salary? Don’t expect much.

    The good thingsVery bad manager attitude in SOGO i-city, no recommendation for staff salary increment and other benefits. Long working hours - 6 working days from 9:30 am to 6:30pm. Overtime only claim hours, seldom approve to pay Overtime Claim
    The challengesLots of work to do and multi tasks. Graphics Design jobs in SOGO are more on to design Attractive Pop cards and stand up pop cards for all products and to make sure all must be in accordance to catalogues produce, also to assemble and dissemble mannequin in different mode of attractive fashion designs using own creativity and awesome presentation works for outlook attractions, especially during "Members Day Offers" and other Big Festival Events.

    A good company to improve knowledge and career movement!
    The good things-Improve my knowledge and skills -Mix around with other department such as, HR department, Marketing department and etc so that we can understand the flow how we work more. -Senior colleague and top managemeng are really helpfull. They never left you behind (as new staff). I do feel very welcome here. -I have more responsible towards my own department, task given, ad hock and really motivated when it comes to career development.
    The challenges-It's always have challenges and also opportunity at work place. It's depends om how we are going to react and the result. Of course there's challenges working at this company because we will having a lot of promotions per month. I need to very quick and fast learner to ensure all the plan must follow the dateline.

    The good thingsGood working place to gain experience for those who want to start their career path. As a customer service person, I learnt many new valuable things, such as gift wrapping, points accumulation matters, handling various complaints and reports. This happen because SOGO receives a huge numbers of customers and visitors. No doubt, the most favourite place to shop during festive seasons! Good career advancement too!
    The challengesGet prepare for RETAIL WORKING HOURS which including weekends, public holidays, festive seasons and works up to 10pm daily. SOGO received a huge numbers of customers,so please expect the high numbers of complaints and various cases to handle too!

    The challengesIts a one of largest deparmental store in Malaysia.Have 8th floor not included 3 floor basement for carpark, so for me as vm overall hve to look all 8th floor. But its good to exercise everyday.

    The good thingsBecause i've experienced with good working environment and good management. Besides, the place is also convenience and strategic for whom who doesnt have trasportation. The wages and salary is based on the brand company itself. They will give additional commission for an excellence employee.
    The challengesin my opinion, SOGO should give more opportunities for fresh graduates. Besides, they also need to provide internship places to improve more in management in some field such as marketing, human resources, finance and accounting.
