Luxury showroom, reasonable pay, and supportive manager make this sales role enjoyable.
The good thingsAs a Sales Consultant, my experience was mostly positive. It’s a sales role, so the usual processes and follow-ups apply, but being a high-end furniture brand, the customers are generally pleasant and quality to interact with. The management is helpful and approachable, always ready to step in when you face challenges or have questions. The showroom is filled with beautiful luxury furniture, making it a really comfortable environment and so enjoyable that the workday sometimes doesn’t even feel like work.
The challengesIt’s still a relatively small, sales-focused team, so the atmosphere leans more quiet than lively. If you’re someone who looks for group activities or a more “fun” work vibe, it might feel a bit slow. The company is also in a growth stage, so some system gaps and imperfections are to be expected.

Although I haven’t been with the company for long, from both a career and life experience perspective, I can confidently say that this is a very healthy and positive workplace, with friendly colleagues and supportive leadership. To be honest, I’ve encountered far more difficult experiences in past companies—some of which, despite being publicly listed, suffered from toxic environments and disruptive team dynamics. In contrast, my experience here has been refreshing and encouraging. I believe that a high turnover rate doesn’t necessarily reflect a flaw in the company—it could be due to various reasons. In fact, I see this as a dynamic and evolving company that attracts strong, capable individuals. As the saying goes, “Tough times never last, but tough people do.” It’s truly an honor to be part of this team, and I’m sincerely proud to say that I’m happy working here. I will continue to give my best and contribute wherever I can. Thank you!

The challengesMy only challenge is the longer working hours, which is understandable in the retail industry, especially on weekends. Overall, I’m fine with it.

Extremely high turn over rate as people join and leave within a month or two the reason are simple , Young manager, he skilled at micromanaging and being pridefull . Always changes your off days at the last minute, especially during an event. No Benefits for staff such as bonus or salary increment and no career development, No clear company direction, trying to do too many things at one time thinking they are capable for handling everything. They expect their staff to do work till the utmost perfection yet they provide unclear instructions. No proper SOP here, always change from time to time (whenever the management feels like it ) . ALOT issue after delivery such as defects and bear in mind there's no customer service here so you need to handle it by yourself. You were told to inform your client a 45-day lead time for order, BUT they will have to wait for 3 months, sometimes longer, so you better be ready to deal with your customers' anger for making false lead time promises.
The good thingsCoworkers are fun when manager not around, which can make it enjoyable to work here and reduce stress.
The challengesThe system company is using to create order have limited access users, so when you want to open Bils, another thing is customer will always bother you after working hour as you need to share personal contact to them and they can be super annoying especially during your off day ( 1 off day a week )

earn lessons not moneyexperience was disappointing due to unclear and misleading info. hired as a full-time sales, but there was no proper comms structure. manager celebrated sales efforts, making it seem like comms were part of the package in fact received 0%. ask for clarifications, I was told I wasn’t entitled to any. basic salary was also misleading, as i was giving the impression that comms were included, though nothing extra was ever paid. thanks stanzo.

Not what I hoped forI accepted the role as a Sales Designer with optimism, especially with a written guarantee of a amount salary increment upon confirmation. That optimism faded quickly when the promised amount was quietly reduced — without any explanation, despite it being clearly stated in the offer letter. When I asked, I was met with vague responses and avoidance, which spoke volumes about the company’s integrity. What became clearer over time was that upper management had little interest in valuing their employees beyond what they could extract from them. Contributions were overlooked, potential was ignored, and concerns were brushed aside. It’s disappointing when leadership fails to recognize that people are the foundation of any company’s success. This experience was eye-opening, and while it wasn’t the journey I expected, it taught me exactly what kind of leadership — and workplace culture — I deserve going forward.

it's stable and consistently growing as plan, it's positive.
The good thingsit's an open minded team, it makes the conversation between staff and the management easier and efficient. also not to mention the high end product and quality client makes your daily work life easier and happier.
The challengeshigh workload and tight dateline happens sometimes.
