    Too many Chiefs. I would work again with star however no feedback since leaving....
    The good thingsThe staff. its pretty easy once you get the hang of things
    The challenges what could be improved? Now that's the Question.... TOO many Chiefs telling you what to do even though they are NOT your boss!! I started with another Lady which she had it in for me from day 1 thinking she could BOSS me around then i Spoke out letting the Managers know but nothing was done got annoyed with the situation and so decided to be the better person and Leave which don't get me wrong i LOVED working for Star but you should know your Job and what to do without 3 4 5 Boss's Simple.... NOTHING WAS DONE now she has left I applied to go back but have heard Nothing..

    Poor work environment with toxic workers, managers, and leaders.

    The challengesOps Supervisors - some are nice, others really are not Team Leaders - I like two, the others are often rude and disrespectful, good leaders and teachers but thee's more to being a good manager than that. One team leader has had it out for since day one and has made false reports and allegations about me and claims I "sabotaged his clean" when I have other team members and another team leader who state otherwise and know I didn't - and ever since I started has treated me like dirt, yelling at me and degrading me. Airport Manager is chill but also bias and limiting me in my ability to progress and treating me unfairly and giving bare minimum shifts (15 hours a week) as a part time employee while casual employees who started at the same time or after me are getting 30+ hours a week - feel so unappreciated and disrespected. I moved states for this job - not worth it. Would nto recomme nd working here if you care about your mental health and/or working in a healthy, supportive environment

    Unprofessional management
    The good thingsTeam members only to be honest.
    The challengesThe manager is so biased and unprofessional. He always try to create spat between team members so he can team up with some members but, everyone now has figured out his tactics so no one likes him. Just for his own bonus, he change the clock ins and clock outs, which he later changed as someone did complain to HR. Whenever someone raise issues, he takes it personally and acts unprofessional. Team members working from more than 3 years don't like this job anymore as this is the reason everyone joined the union. They start sending the emails of rotating rosters as soon as someone raises their concerns. Definitely not a good place to work.

    Too many workaholic in this job, we don't get paid on our lunch and it is 30 minuets yet expected to skip it. too much workload.
    The good thingsThere are some good people to work with. to be honest that's about it. also you get to open and close aircraft door.
    The challengestoo much workload, managers look down on you and ask you to pick up trash in aircraft when your job is truck driver. a lot of power moves by some managers and also cleaners team leaders act like your boss. So many workaholics in this job. too many hours, they don't care about the workers.

    It is awesome for me.
    The good thingsFirstly, the CEO. He is one chill dude. Very approachable and highly understanding. Then my manager at Brisbane is also a great person. But the main reason why Star is amazing is the colleague from different backgrounds all coming together for a common goal is amazing.
    The challengesHard to deal with certain people (like a team leader, a supervisor, and also a new lady who acts like a manager) who are quite rigid and conservative and at times racist. Flight delays as well but that is the nature of any jobs in an airport.

    The good thingsGreat experiences, learn many skills and attributes, get to witness many 747 and 717 Boeing Aircraft and understand the aviation industry.
    The challengesBalancing many 10 hour days straight, split shifts and general life all gets difficult. When something went wrong, manager was unaccountable coincidentally. Company is great, just the location of the company and some team members was not.

    The good thingsI really enjoy the people I work with, we all get along as we all have a diverse range of personalities. Management are very well organised and very helpful when you need assistance. It is very enjoyable coming into work as I get to deal with a wide range of situation and experience the airport life.
    The challengesThe airport is an always changing environment which makes it difficult to keep up with the latest trends. However, the management are very well organised which makes it much easier.

    The challengesThe management is extremely poor. They do not care about their staff. Management only hires their friends and family. If you are not a part of their 'group' you are left on the outside.

    The good thingsI joined Star Aviation over 6 months ago and couldn't be happier with my decision! I enjoy working as part of a team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction for our aviation clients. Overall a great place to work with some of the best co-workers I could ever ask for.

    Amazing to work with the Company
    The good thingsStar Aviation has enabled me to grow not only my personal skills but also my leadership skills. Everyone that works at the company always has a smile on their face and enjoys the work they conduct, everyone is always neatly presented, pay a great deal to presentation and are very hard working.
    The challengesThe only real challenge would be tight time constraints when an aircraft is running late which tends to be out of everyone's control
